Love that all the reactors talk about Jokers lip licking as an acting choice and not the real reason which is his prosthetic scars were coming off so he'd lick his lips to press them down.
@@kamilszczęsny-m9d Yup! At first it was not intentional until they realized that it can look like a physical tic, and it made Joker look more unhinged and unpredictable
Sometimes real life things actually add to the character. In the Godfather, Marlon Brando always had his hand up close to his mouth when it was because he had his lines written on his palm.
Can't believe it took 13 years for another live discussion between Batman and Joker. And Affleck and Leto weren't even there together, they filmed separately. Guess this scene just raised that bar
What makes the joker one of batman's most deadliest of enemies is that he genuinely doesn't care how his actions affect others. I mean, right here at 4:36 Batman is enraged! and Joker isn't taking any of it seriously.
It takes the chair and places it against the door. I can never get tired of seeing that scene. You knew the shit was going to hit the fan at that point.
The lights turning on to reveal Batman was standing behind him the entire time is, to this day, the coldest moment I've ever seen in a comic book movie, ever. Maybe in any movie.
Even Joker said it himself that Batman completes him and its also the reason why batmans never kills him Batman just keeps detaining him and sends him back to arkam asylum and batman also says that once you kill you never go back thats why he never kills the joker even though he hurts him and his friends and family so many times

Scenes like this one elevates this movie from a “comic book movie” to a “crime drama movie” which happens to have superheroes and supervillains in it.
"There only as good as the world allows them to be" I will never forget that line.

I love that he even clarifies that with the line “You have nothing to threaten me with.” Which only gives Joker more power in that situation
@vagabond8460 Remember what Alfred said to Bruce about Joker.
" Some just want to watch the city burn." ( in a nutshell that's his M.O)
I don't know how can anyone talk or laugh or even breath during this iconic scene. Just zip it and enjoy
It is amazing how Heath took those punches and kept acting
What could have been Mr. Ledger? You made me fall in love with movies. RIP legend

RIP Health 😢
Who's Health?
@KingMike-t1d Heath Ledger
I meant sorry l am not going at spelling
@@KingMike-t1dits bad for the health
RIP
What's also crazy about this scene is that Bale is really hitting Ledger including the head bash on the glass. Ledger wanted it to be real.

It's like they took all the talkers in the world and put them all in one theater.
Best superhero movie ever 💙
Understood, but SUPERMAN (1978). Christopher Reeve, Richard Donner and John Williams. Too much.
