I could imagine his power ultimately is going to be using other powers but there’s a catch like he has to concentrate at points to control some aspects like size and strength lest it be either too overwhelming for the situation or not effective enough. Either that or his version isn’t as potent as if it was a main power. Say he can hover and float but not fly rather fast as typically associated with the power.

Definitely the most disturbing scene in the trilogy. The juxtaposition between the peaceful and green Gladden Fields and the brutal, feral-esque murder of Deagol. The eerie shrieking music when he puts on the ring. And just how sudden these two go from friendly, amiable cousins to being at one another's throats. The Ring was truly corruptible.

Lmao the girl at 8:30 asking 'what was the beef that was so bad' had she just been not watching the entire movie up until that point? I get this is pretty early in the movie but you can still clearly tell what happened. Even in this scene alone with the flashback as she opens the door and they first see each other.

The score is incredible disturbing and makes you tense. Eventhough, we knew what happened if we studied the trinity test, you can't help but feel tense during this scene. My whole theatre were on the edge of their seats because of how tense it was and how disturbing the score got. Once it drops and sudden silences for a bit and ngl, I think people probably thought that would be it but the sonic boom after when sound hits them was beautifully done. It makes it feel very realistic in a way of you see the explosion first but you don't hear it until a few seconds after depending on how far you were. Once the boom hit, it scared the shit out of my theatre.😂
