The reason hulk gets so made when tony calls him banner is because Hulk and Banner are two different personalities. That's why hulk always get mad when someone calls him banner remember when banner shot himself in the face and hulk spit the bullet out they are two different people.
Honestly, where was all this rage and raw power against Thanos during their first encounter? Here we see the Hulk taking a much heavier beating from iron man than he did from Thanos and Hulk just gets practically one shotted in infinity war. The criticisms were valid, they nerfed Hulk just to prop up Thanos.
Raw power was used, Thanos moved Hulk's hands away from himself confusing Hulk, and then each uncalculated flail from Hulk is retaliated by calculated constant hits from Thanos that don't let him keep up at all / get a grasp to even move, to which Hulk falls down quick after. Hulk was already mad when Iron Man came to fight him, thus why proper brute force was required and it didn't even faze him, not until he saw people scared that made him realize what was going on, and promptly knocked out before he could get any angrier.
Aside from the fact that they are the same Hulk, in that movie, Hulk was damaged when he faced the military at the university, something that would not happen to this Hulk.
This was the fight I officially gave up on the hulk . They ruined him smh one of the most complex characters in comic book reduced to a mindless monster smfh
