It’s geared towards 3b/3c and above hair, they posted about it on their Instagram, which is why a lot of naturals are getting different results. It’s a lightweight line.
I love TGIN but it's weird that they never promoted this line on their social media. It's still not promoted as if it doesn't exist. It's not even posted on their main website. I wonder why though. Thanks for the review sis.

I have 4a hair and literally its the most hydrating leave in I've ever had. I've actually never had a product absorb into my hair instantly and smooth out my cuticles like this.
I have fine 4a/4b hair and I like the leave-in, gel and mousse. I use all three for my wash and go,s and My style lasts 3 to 4 days without me having to refresh my curls.

Thanks for sharing. The leave in seems to be the winner of this collection. I think I may pick that up. Sucks that the gel didn’t work as great. But they are in the process of making a new gel to go with the leave in from the RX collection. Hopefully that one is better.

People had the same issues with their Curl Bomb gel! I think their gels are probably better for type 3 curls. I actually used the curl bomb and liked it for a voluminous wng!
I’ve used one TGIN and some are to have for my wavy fine hair. I live TGIN rosewater hydrating shampoo/frizz free conditioner and the leave in. I live the cowash as well
For me personally the rose water shampoo does wonders for my hair and it's something I will definitely be buying again and again!

I’m not going to lie. That rose water gel is BOMB. I have 3c/4a/4b curls. YES all three. It actually works best on my tighter curls to be honest. I’m low porosity so after using the mousse and gel for a wash and go, I clarify with a sulfate shampoo. My wash and go can stay for 7 days...YES 7 days. Not sure how it will work on a set, twist, etc but wash and go this was a success for me!

The style is still cute even with the frizz. I'm interested in the rose water collection becuz their original collection has coconut oil which my scalp hates but I'm not sold on it. I might just stick with the honey miracle mask
Just bought the original line for the first time last time, I think the original shampoo and conditioner does the job and I have seen my hair retain moisture and be less frizzy during the summer afterwards but the leave in conditioner just sits on my hair. I am no longer buying leave ins unless they are from etsy and plant BASED. Just tried aloe Chebe butter and I ain't going back to target for a leave in unless its kinky curly. My hair loves aloe and marshmallow root.
I only tried the shampoo because I know this line isn't geared towards thicker hair strands. I really liked it. Does it's job and you don't need much.

My hair gets bone dry in 1 day. I have 4c hair like you. What products moisturize your hair best? Like, can you name what you use for your full regimen? TGIN's shampoo (original line) is definitely a moisturizing shampoo. It does get the job done though.

I'm kind of sad because I love rose things. But my hair is THIRSTY AND DRY so I'm not gonna play myself. I will be sticking to the honey miracle mask lol.
Also I hate their leave in, but I think my hair just does not like most leave ins. I've never found one that gave lasting moisture. I recently started using a lightweight regular conditioner from Qhemet as leave in, and that has made such a huge difference, so I will be sticking with that lol.

I think your braid out is pretty. When I read that this line of products were designed to be light weight on the hair, I knew I was not going to try them. I have type 4 hair so I need a heavier product for my particular hair.

Tgin seems like an okay line. It really doesn’t make sense to have a sulfate free line with silicones and oils. The water will have a hard time getting to the hair.

@@OneSmartFro their moisture rich shampoo has sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate. It removes silicone.

I bought the shampoo. I also use a clarifying shampoo to get the dirt out of my hair. I will stick to the orginal line.

OMGG this makes me sad! Cuz I loved this line from them .. I even went back and got the gel because I originally hadn’t purchased it for my review because I didn’t like their other gel.. but now I’m scared 😭😥😩
I tried the products from their original line and I bought most of them from tj maxx, some from target. None of the styling products mixed well on my hair nor did they sit well on my hair. Even the creams flakes off. I don’t know if it cause tj maxx has expired stuff or what cause I couldn’t find the exp date. I’m afraid to buy more stuff cause it’s expensive l.
I tried the leave in and it worked in applying to my hair and I could comb it but the moisture was gone by the morning and my hair looked dull. Their first leave in tangled my hair
the rose water line is specialised for people with low porosity hair where product wouldn't penetrate a lot of moisture to the hair so it has quite a light formula

@@Penelope416 Yep. I think buying all of these products will be a thing of the past before long. People are losing jobs and homes. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but there isn't much talk about the Mane Choice's new line. They wanted $99 before it was introduced along with receiving the prickly pear collection. From what I read most people passed on it, and now there's hardly any chatter about it.
Question: When you use a hydrating conditioner and a moisturizing conditioner, do you look for different things or do you expect them to do the same thing?
I'm going to try the line minus the gel. I still have the original gel and did not like it for my hair.

Someone in the comments made a really good point, why make a super gentle shampoo and put silicones and coating ingredients in the other products?? I want to say the mask may not have performed as well as it could because the shampoo was so gentle , idk. The base ingredients are pretty much the same as the other lines with the 1 or 2 ingredients/extracts being different. Then they market the extracts to make it seem like a different product. Brands do this but TGIN makes it really obvious lol

The line says for "FINE HAIR".
This was just what I needed. I was on time fence so I think I’m going to pass. Which is disappointing bc I was excited for them but they just can’t seem to get it right or maybe this line is more for looser textures. IDK🤷🏾♀️
Your hair looked ok though. I have the moisturizing gel. I’m not gel girl but I think it actually is moisturizing but doesn’t hold. It will give you definition but for me a day day and half at best.

Hard pass on this line. I’m down to just using their original shampoo because I’ve never had success with any of their stylers and gave up the honey mask after discovering it had silicones.

Silicones aren’t necessarily always an enemy. They can work very well if you’re properly clarifying your hair. Just how they say Blue Magic is the devil, but it works if you keep your hair clean & properly moisturize before using it

Yea this can go both ways though, there isn’t a variety in their line but their conditioner and masks have been bae since day 1 (and I’m Low P/Med-high density) so why change what’s not broke. They can definitely work on their gels but for the variety of great gels that are out there. They are good. Us TGIN lovers hope for more but if it can’t get better than day 1’s save it until you can. I have noticed that the original mask has changed in smell and color a bit lately. I’ve been buying them since I went natural back in 2013. 🤦🏽♀️

Maybe the products needed more water to moisturize because I know they have a lot of silicone and oil’s and if you don’t have enough water the products may not work well. This voice to text chopped this up sorry.

I don’t like that tgin has changed their ingredients for their honey miracle mask. And added a bunch of horrible ingredients. I bought one product from their website and one from ulta and the ingredients were completely different. I don’t trust their products anymore.
I thought it was just me?! I live by their honey miracle mask but the last one I bought from ulta just hasn’t been hitting how it normally does.
Purp By The Curl I emailed them and they changed the formula. They sent me two replacement products because I’m like this is not the same formula.
Everything is not for your hair everything ain’t mint to be Thick for type 4 hair some people have fine type 4 hair or thin hair so when u do a review of different hair Collections something in the line my not be for your hair type unless it says only for type 4 hair only so stop sounding so disgusted over the Collection
