Good definition. The flakes were probably because you used a lot of gel as you said. Too many good combos around for me to be tempted try these products. Thanks for taking one for the team🙂
Like your t-shirts. Thanks for doing this combo. I have been eyeballing the rose water line. I still might try the rose water leave-in. I do see the whiteness and flakes. That gel look pretty thick. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. The leave-in is very light, but your hair is finer than my hair so it may work well for you. The gel looks thick, but it thins out nicely; I just don't think they work well together. Also, the gel is drying in my opinion.
Aside from the flaking I think it turned out great! I love the fullness you got! I'll be trying these in the near future. Thanks for sharing your results!😉
I had this same experience using their miracle rx gel. I’ll definitely have to find ways to use less next time because I did use half the jar trying to get the definition I wanted
I have yet to try TGIN thought I've been following them for years. I wish well for the brand, but just haven't been inspired enough to purchase anything. Thanks for sharing.
Results came out pretty good! I recently got some progressives too and I'm just now used to them a month later 😂 I would switch back to my regular glasses sometimes cause my eyes felt strange 🤷🏾♀️
When I was into all the leave ins and creams, tgin was my favorite. I still use it on my daughters hair and love all the leave ins, curl food and butter cream moisturizer. I bought this gel and the miracurl styling gel and both gave me flakes. They weren't visible but let me turn my head too fast....dust storms galore lmao
I use a buff which is very similar to what you used. I wear it when I'm doing yard work, camping or hiking to keep stuff out of it! 😆 Otherwise I get twigs in my hair and terrified to get bugs in it. Dont want anything crawling on me in my sleep 😩
I know you don't care for the final results but it still looks good. Love the definition! I think using more water and less product may help next time.
I’ve been wanting to try this line, but have not used TGINs products since I first went natural. The products didn’t really work then. I haven’t commented much lately, but I liked the Pattern results too. Glad you ended up liking them. Barring the smell, I really like them. As far as UFD, I want to try the new formula to see if I’ll like it. I love the other one. I did see a noticeable difference in performance before you topped it, but I’m curious about how it will work because I use it w/o applying anything over it.
I liked the Pattern results, as well. I am hoping to give them another try soon. I have not used the UFD alone because I just don't think it will hold my hair, but maybe I need to just try it and see. What do you use under the UFD?
@@NaturalRaeRae I’m pretty sure it was the coco water leave in. Double check though. Would also check against the Curls BB Hair Milk and the Moisture Love.
Yeah I have the green tea leave in. And it's good but not incredible. I'm looking for a super moisturizing leave in conditioner and I havent found one yet. Any suggestions?
I really like the Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave-in and I think the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner is good as a leave-in. I think the Texure ID 3x Moisture Conditioner is good as a leave in as well.
I got the hair tube from www.tonidaley.com. It is not a Loc Soc, but I use it as one sometimes. If you want an official Loc Soc then you would need to go to www.soclocsoc.com
The purple hair tube is from www.tonidaley.com. It is not a Loc Soc, but I use it as one sometimes. If you want an official Loc Soc then you would need to go to www.soclocsoc.com
I use an old one I got from Sally Beauty. They no longer carry it. Any hooded dryer should do the trick; they are all about the same unless you are getting a salon quality one. Thanks for tuning in.
Thank you! They never really spoke to me either until this line. Since it was on sale, I thought I would try it. Not sure if I would've tried it for regular price. Thanks for tuning in.
I have the DC and leave-in for this line. I love rose water as an ingredient. I didn't feel this line was any better than the original. In a word I felt meh about the line. I think it's worth the try, but it didn't do anything remarkable for my hair.
of course you look good but I am not here for flaking and curveball products. I prefer products that i can pair together without having to remember which one causes flakes with what leave in
Flaking aside, your hair looks so shiny and healthy!!!
Thank you!
Good definition. The flakes were probably because you used a lot of gel as you said. Too many good combos around for me to be tempted try these products. Thanks for taking one for the team🙂
Thanks for tuning in.
Rae thanks for this review 🥰💙.. I hate that your hair had flakes .. luv the definition.. can’t wait to hear your final thoughts 💙☀️
I love TGIN products! I've never tried the gel before tho, but your hair came out amazing! Your curls were well defined at the end
Thank you!

Hair looks great 👍🏽 and I hope you feel better.
Thank you! 🤗 I do feel better.
Yes sone casting in top.
Aside from the flaking I think it turned out great! I love the fullness you got! I'll be trying these in the near future. Thanks for sharing your results!😉
Thank you. I liked the fullness, too, but the dust can go. I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

That's pretty much how I felt until I saw this line on sale. I figured why not try it out since it was on sale.
I love the green tea leave in lots of moisture

Thanks for the review! Looking forward to the follow-up vid. Sorry u got flakes😩 cause it's so pretty🌞🌞🌞
Thank you! 🤗

😂😂😂 too funny. Some dust is okay, but snow storms won't do.
Not dust storms 😂 😂 😂
Looks Great!!
Thanks!

Yeah, it was shaped nicely and the definition was great, but the snow I can't deal with. I did try it a second time, so stay tuned for that video.
@@NaturalRaeRae oh good I'm on the lookout 👀. I've only tried their original line. I don't think I'll try this one.

Where did you get the loc sack from
I got the hair tube from www.tonidaley.com. It is not a Loc Soc, but I use it as one sometimes. If you want an official Loc Soc then you would need to go to www.soclocsoc.com
this combo gave some great definition. wish it didn’t flake!
Exactly! Have you tried this line? If so, how'd you like it?
@@NaturalRaeRae nope! i was too iffy on this to ever pick it up lol!
Where did you get the purple hair cover and loc sock from? Thanks

@@NaturalRaeRae thank you
What hooded dryer do you use to dry your wash n go?

Your hair is very defined 😊.I think stretching would make alot of difference...before you did it, lol.
I love the leave ins but the gels are just meh and drying to me. I use it on my son's hair now. The only one that works for me is the miracle repair
Thanks for sharing.
The TGIN products just don’t speak to me. I know your getting some flakes but your hair looks good.
Thank you! They never really spoke to me either until this line. Since it was on sale, I thought I would try it. Not sure if I would've tried it for regular price. Thanks for tuning in.

You hit the nail on the head. I don't want to remember what to pair either. Thanks for tuning in.
