I'd be surprised if it held for more than a few minutes max. Not to mention it'll rip off a chunk of the wall plaster when it falls down too. It's not a reliable product

That's not true. Nails do the exact same thing.
If your walls are so bad that a sticker cab rip it off then you probably need a proper drywall before a nail tears through the entire thing
