I think why they put Francisca salsa de Santos as 117 is because she was born on October 21, 1904 and October 5, 2021 so she died in the same month as she was going to turn 117 and for when someone in this list reaches it quickly switches their age, even if they passed their birthday or not
I’m honestly really surprised that one of our family members ended up having a chance of becoming the worlds oldest person and sometimes I feel like it’s not even real even though it is :-)
