I hope Greg Gagne reads these comments. I grew up in Minnesota and there was nothing, absolutely nothing better than the AWA and All-Star Wrestling. It meant so much to everyone, my dad, my uncles, all my family we would never miss it. We saw matches in Long Prairie, Alexandria, and St. Cloud. The Crusher was amazing. Mad Dog Vuchon. We loved Nick Bockwinkle, Super Destroyer, Baron Von Rascke, and the women enjoyed Renee Goulet. Pro-Wrestling was more popular than the Twins or the Vikings all because of Verne Gagne and of course Greg. Your product was far superior to anything coming out of any other city. The WWF, WEF or whatever...They were all the minor leagues. AWA was absolutely the best, and provided wonderful memories for an entire generation. The AWA was a national treasure.
I've watched this video numerous times this past year. I want to feel sorry for Greg, but dude the snake bit you several times and you kept trying to pet it. Snakes are going to bite. You should have known after the first incident Bischoff was a snake.

Way too many holes in his story. He grew in the wrestling business he knew , I'm really not buying into his so called naiveté. This would be plausible if it were coming from someone else. But coming from him, this story just sounds like a lot of bull that's been stretched with bits and pieces of truth.
Its funny. Vince has no problem putting his competition out of buiseness , however the second someone tries to do it to him he cries like a baby! This why AEW NEEDS TO SUCCEED.
Little known fact, Greg convinced the Minnesota timberwolves to draft point guard Johnny Flynn with the 7th pick in the 2009 nba draft just so the golden state warriors could draft a nobody and complete bum from a small school named Stephen curry next. True story. The Minnesota timberwolves screwed hometown awa out of money in 1989 so Greg knew by telling Minnesota management to take Flynn over curry, he would now finally get the ultimate revenge. Greg as usual wins in the end.
Greg your so funny you and your father didn't invent wrestling lol you had to do with hogan going to wcw, WCW vs AWA nobody would have cared if you weren't so selfish trying to revive the AWA you would still have a job. Thank goodness for NWO lol of course your trying to take credit.

What I wanna know is where was Greg Gagne working at to say I can’t come there for that, I’m making more than that. Where did Greg work at after his dad’s company went belly up ?
Eric and Greg should be on an updated version of To Tell The Truth. The catch is, the one who tells the truth first blows up. Who you got?
Using a Cornette line, but you couldn't believe either of them if their tongues were notarised.
😂
I would like to see them in a debate with maybe Sean Oliver.
@@gopherstate777 that would be a main event anywhere in the country
If he was so smart why didn't he save his old mans business lol
He is lying, Ric Flair was the one who convinced Hogan to come in
I've watched this video numerous times this past year. I want to feel sorry for Greg, but dude the snake bit you several times and you kept trying to pet it. Snakes are going to bite. You should have known after the first incident Bischoff was a snake.
Hogan already was pissed at the gagnes years earlier from the merchandising and not putting the title on hogan .
Gagne been brainwashed from his old man .give it up kid
Greg’s AWA vs NWA idea was horrible, don’t blame Bischoff for dismissing it
I loved whenever Jim Ross would flip out and get all excited.
Some how he got hogans number 🤣 dude you never even had it hes not gonna give half of💩
Ed Leslie gave it to him.
So wait they called the guy who just lost everything to Vince on how to beat Vince
His idea of NWA vs. AWA sounds really good. Could knocked off WWF by the sounds of it. Too bad.
Ok now I’ve head 2 people say getting Hogan was “their” idea. Either this guy or Mike Graham were lying. Actually 3 because Eric said it was his all along haha. These people are all flim flam carney trash
I had a contract with Bill Watts but I didn't sign it. Why not? Makes no damn sense.
Way too many holes in his story. He grew in the wrestling business he knew , I'm really not buying into his so called naiveté. This would be plausible if it were coming from someone else. But coming from him, this story just sounds like a lot of bull that's been stretched with bits and pieces of truth.
@@snoplau9994- if he's lying he is a consistent liar. He has made claims about handshake deals in the past.
@emptyhand777 I don't think he's lying completely. But in no way do I think he's being completely transparent, honest, or a hundred.
The part about getting part of Hogan's merchandise doesn't make sense.
He was why of on jim ross
there was once a tag team called mr. high mr. low....i would have to have seen.. greg gagne and mike graham ..as a tag team...
Greg He still mad Eric got to the level he did .
1:55 making more than that where??? AWA WAS CLOSING AND Gone
Caddie on the golf course and a gopher at Nick Bockwinkel's life insurance company.
Wait how you tell eric im piss at you n nutvtell him to sign Hogan 😂
He says AWA vs NWA would of been better then NWO vs WCW
Its funny. Vince has no problem putting his competition out of buiseness , however the second someone tries to do it to him he cries like a baby! This why AEW NEEDS TO SUCCEED.
this dude always seems bitter
Little known fact, Greg convinced the Minnesota timberwolves to draft point guard Johnny Flynn with the 7th pick in the 2009 nba draft just so the golden state warriors could draft a nobody and complete bum from a small school named Stephen curry next.
True story. The Minnesota timberwolves screwed hometown awa out of money in 1989 so Greg knew by telling Minnesota management to take Flynn over curry, he would now finally get the ultimate revenge. Greg as usual wins in the end.
Too bad u can’t believe anything Greg says
He seems kind of full of it $hit
Stephanie McMahon is a poor little rich girl. I am sure she is the queen winer.
Good old Greg is as boring and dry during interviews as he was in the wrestling ring.
Seems like Greg is a sucker. Russian PPV over WCW / NWO contract? 😂😂😂ok......ok.
This dude is a liar 🤣 Hogan left AWA he would never contact you or even give you 🙄 😒 the time of day
Greg is such an obvious liar lol.
I can’t tell who is the bigger fabricator, Paul, Roma, or Greg
Think Bischoff won Greg….maybe you got done dirty but dude ran a wrestling enterprise without any nepotism…get over it
Easy e was always trying to screw someone over he is o terrible person
Even the strippers at The Gold Club got screwed by Easy E.
Yeh instead of $ they get nickels lol
Greg your so funny you and your father didn't invent wrestling lol you had to do with hogan going to wcw, WCW vs AWA nobody would have cared if you weren't so selfish trying to revive the AWA you would still have a job. Thank goodness for NWO lol of course your trying to take credit.
Greg gagne was a threat. Adios.
Greg Gagne was the man who pitched the idea of nWo to WCW executives and then Erich Bischoff stole the idea.
ZZZZZ
Greg is an expert at nothing. He has never accomplished anything on his own. Snakey individual. You can hear It in this interview. He is always trying to make some kind of stupid deal for himself
Hogan never trusted greg.. he almost didnt sign with wcw becauae of greg
What I wanna know is where was Greg Gagne working at to say I can’t come there for that, I’m making more than that. Where did Greg work at after his dad’s company went belly up ? You know what the difference between Hulk Hogan’s tall tales and Greg Gagne’s tall tales are ? Nothing ! They’re both the same height. This guy is nothing but a nicer version of Bret Hart. He’s bitter and everything bad happened to him and his dad and they all got screwed every time.
Worst out of shape wrestler of all time.
Listen to eric bischoff... eric seems way more believably than greg gagne
