For cleaning the brush, could I use a drop of dawn soap mixed with warm water instead of shampoo? Most shampoos have oils in them that coat the hair. Whereas dawn soap removes all oils including the oils from your hair that the brush soaked up.

Can you do a review on your other expensive boar bristle brushes (in particular the Isinis brand)? I have 4 Mason Pearsons and want to know if there is anything else as good or better.
were some of the nylon bristles a little uneven at the ends? like some of them are rounded and others are kind of "unfinished" looking? I'm pretty sure mine is original but I've been wondering about the bristles bc for that price I'd expect all of them to be perfectly rounded lol

I clean my Hair brush and my makeup brushes with Dr. Bronner's magic liquid castile soap (unscented)
