- This is my first time incubating eggs. I bought a Nurture Right 360 at Tractor Supply and 36 fertilized quail eggs from a local breeder. In this video I am unpacking the incubator and setting up my quail eggs for day 0.

Don't float the eggs..it washes off the bloom.
You shouldn’t float the eggs and the listerine is not necessary either. However it is worth candling eggs at day 7 and 14 to check for development prior to lockdown
I had a hard time putting 2 quail eggs per slot. Mine would bind up & turn on edge. I was adjusting them several times a day. I did find a quail egg turner on amazon. It fits perfectly! Good luck on your hatch!
Thanks, Becky! I have noticed that some get stuck occaisionally and have had to shift some eggs. I will definitely look into the tray on Amazon.
