Thanks heaps mate, im glad you're enjoying it. It's up there with one of my favourite trips over here in W.A and the 3rd time I've done it. I felt I had to share it and hopefully inspire others to check it out for themselves 👌👍
Great video. We were there a few years ago but failed to find the old tin shack. The weather then was magical and cailm, but the rain pushed through helping us to navigate the sand tracks without the dust. Keep up the good work and look forward to the next episode. Cheers.
Thanks mate im glad you enjoyed it. I also remember when I was there a few years back it was perfect weather. No wind and quite warm, but I suppose you can't win them all 👍
@@timmystours ok mate, thanks for the tip. I thought it would have been more windy then at that time of the year. who bloody knows these days. we took a day trip to Black Point, never seen it so windy
@@AshleyPearceImages yeh its been crazy. I just remember the last 2 times I was there it was for the Christmas Holidays and we had awesome weather both times 🤷♂️
Thanks for that mate I appreciate it. I started it off as a hobby to keep myself entertained when I was off work with busted shoulder. Now I just do an episode here and there when i get the time. I'm glad you're enjoying it 👍🍻
I am planning to travel to Bibunya Dunes Solo soon and Point Culver. Are you travelling there any time soon, nice to have some backup.. How difficult is it to go back up the rubber belt section ?
Hi mate. I won't be heading back anytime soon as I'm currently up in Darwin for a while. The conveyor belt section shouldn't be a problem mate. Sometimes there is a bit of a step up down the bottom but if worst comes to worst, pull out the shovel and fill it up 👍
I have a PRADO with recovery gear snatch strap maxtraxs ect. What is the best way to connect with emergency services in a remote area like Bilbunya Dunes? Just in case
You'll be fine mate. Tyre pressure is obviously the key once on the beach. I'd be starting around 14psi. There's a few options. Satellite phone but can be costly. A personal locator beacon and now what is coming very common is starlink if you have an inverter to run it. I used starlink on my last Kimberley trip and it was awesome
Your a legend Timmy, cheers for your efforts mate with all the footage.
Gotta luv the history along the way, unreal mate what a trip 👍

Pity about the weather, last time we went it was awesome. Keep the great content coming!
Yeh I spose you can't win them all. We still had an awesome time nonetheless 👍🍻
Great video mate shame about the wind as looks like a good trip
The wind was definitely not on our side mate. However we did get some really nice days on the second half of the trip
TS, been wanting to do this trip forever. Can't wait to see future parts
Mate all I can say is get down there and do it. However I'd be waiting until December or January as this is when I've found the weather to be the best
