Here's how to play Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley at three levels of difficulty! In the video, the full song is taught (all sections). We look at it firstly from a beginner view point (no barre chords!), then intermediate with some melody and strumming embellishments. Finally, we look at how to play it with Hendrix style double-stops just like in the original recording!

I would rate myself as intermediate player. When I was first learning guitar in the 80s this was one of my favorite songs to play and sing. I only played open chords however have no problem with Barre chords. Great breakdown Andy

I’m 52 and have my acoustic and electric guitars arriving in a few weeks. This will be my 1st main goal for a song to play with many many little small goals leading up to this.
Also don't forget to let him know that the intro originally was done on a Telecaster with a palm mute

Listen to the guitarist in Dwight Yokhams band playing this track , he plays this like an absolute guitar god , I almost always prefer the original of any mainstream track but this cover is an absolute gem , take a couple of minutes out of your day and look it up on TH-cam , you can't help but be impressed 👍🏻
