I personally disagree with the whole concept of linking Religion to one's moral and ethical values as well as their life experience. Atheists, Agnostics and non-Religious people in general CAN EASILY be good natured people. If one needs Organized Religion of any form to guide them from their own human temptations, then that shows weak mindedness, as there are basic bad habits to remove and corrections they can make to themselves. Too many males today don't want to be intelligent and stand for anything themselves, so they don't want an intelligent woman he has to level up to having meaningful conversations with. They run from an intelligent and strong woman of substance when he doesn't want to rise to the challenge to be an intelligent and strong man of substance...We need more men and women like that today who will level up developing mind, character, and spirit.

A: Malcolm made the request to anyone within the sound of his voice to stop compromising with their enemy, to not pull punches and tell them how they REALLY feel.
I suspect a man of his integrity wouldn't say something like that, and then turn around and consider himself EXEMPT from his own instruction.

shamarone I disagree with how he says things along the lines of "Islam is a benificial and necessary thing to have in order to always be guided on a good path in life, for one's mentality and actions." I personally disagree with the whole concept of linking Religion to one's moral and ethical values as well as their life experience. Atheists, Agnostics and non-Religious people in general CAN EASILY be good natured people. If one needs Organized Religion of any form to guide them from their own human temptations, then that shows weak mindedness, as there are basic bad habits to remove and corrections they can make to themselves. It's all a question of Willpower and Motivation, ever present aspects of a Human, and this goes way back to the earliest days of Humanity.
The only reason I would listen to a message from a Muslim I heard a talk about the GOD of the holy Bible,Malcolm had a good talk that let me know he knew better than to turn to that religion,if any get off track I'm gone,I'm not no bodies fool GOD got me..

Malcolm X was and still is one of the few most prominent activists the world has known. Following his entire journey during our troubled times, I came to the conclusion that he would be a great supporter of current rights issues. I'm thinking about the potential this man could have displayed. However I'm sure his true intentions during this speech was not to put women against each others like some of you are doing in the comments section.
I'm pretty sure of this, although he still was a man of his times, and might have sound to some of you like he was disrespecting the women who didn't fit in. He wasn't disrespecting no woman, so stop putting each woman against the others and start listening to his words for real. We still need them today.
