Enjoyed your sharp & indept review of 3rd Nephi 27 thru 4th Nephi. Great to review the impact of what Blessing are received by following the Lord 's directions and prompting. Sad 4 those who don't!
Thanks for the reminder to write in my journal and not only that but to go back and reread and remind yourself of things. Wonderful! I also love the commentary on Pride, it opens my eyes.
I know this thought is not based on actual truth but it helps me contextualize "hearken" along with the actual meaning of the word. I like to break it up into "hear" and "ken" - hear is self explanatory and ken is Scottish for "to know". So I like to think of it as "hear and know". Just a fun thought. 😊
I watch your videos along with reading the commentary in the Book of Mormon Central app. Interestingly there is that Brant Gardner argues that there are only three Nephis-the Nephi in 3 Nephi and 4 Nephi are one and the same.
We have always called them the three Nephites There might be a lot of reasons to call them something else. We can call them the three disciples. The disciples of John came to Jesus. And ask him if he was the one they waited for. Or if they were to look for another. If we call them, the three disciples . That could be confusing With a lot of other disciples. or even apostles. We have gotten so accustomed to use the term three Nephites. Everyone knows instantly who we’re talking about. It would be so confusing to say the three disciples. We know God is not a god of confusion. Let’s keep referring to them as the three Nephites . Thank you.
I love your videos. I wish I found them sooner. You both explain the lessons so good for me and when you show how science goes into it. *mindblown*

Thanks for another awesome lesson! I’ve learned so much more from you guys than just reading the chapters by myself. ❤
