I wish that I could tell Mary Hopkins how much her music means to me. When I am feeling down, you pick me up with your voice. Awe Tim, you're lucky... I'm 57 in a few days and I only just heard of her like yesterday. I can't get enough!!! I remember those were the days so, I'm sure I've heard her before and I know my Mom and grandmother loved that song so again, yeah, but this wasn't my scene back then and man, wow!!! I'm blown away now 🤯 She really has the most tender, sweet and gentle voice... And so far, honestly, I haven't heard a song that really does her voice justice. The ocean song was closest but, she really has a very powerful voice, I can feel it. But, I wish her the best and definitely going to look at buying some of her music! -Cheers!

Apple/Capitol/Universal should release the Greatest Hits collection "Those Were The Days" as part of their Icon series. They just released Badfinger - Timeless - The Legacy as part of theit Icon Series. There's a whole new Generation that would love Mary's music. Would also love to see Mary Hopkin come to New York to perform. Gold & Silver is an amazing track.

Truly a great surprise listening to Mary Hopkin again after 51 years are passed since her first album ( that dates back from 1968/69 ), and watching and listening to this very beautiful new video. Though she recorded a wonderful song with Vangelis in 1994, when he finally decided to release the CD with the Blade Runner soundtrack ( a release that had been postponed since 1982 ). But this Mary Hopkin's work with Vangelis, at that time, seemed me to me something as a... jewell lost in time and space. But now I'm very glad to know that her career has continued along the years. Very good !
It is amazing the affect Mary has had on me throughout the years. From her music in 1968 until today in 2021. I wish, with all my heart, that she continues making music and possibly an album again. Mary has been my all time favorite female artist. Beautiful. Mary was a favorite of mine way back when she had several charted songs. The Beatles were helping her to be recognized and she had the most wonderful voice. My favorite song was a minor hit titled "Temma Harbour". It is a cheerful song from a time of free love. I was in the Air Force from 1965 to 1969 and I came back to the most incredible era of music.
