He certainly claims more now than he did when it came out on that album dominated by Lennon songs that sounded just like this one. What a great Lennon album Rubber Soul was. Hard to say whether Paul is lying or just falsely remembering over 50 years ago. No way his memory could be trusted now especially since it's so different than what he said back then. Paul's story is absurd as well. He claimed Lennon had this song with no music and few lyrics. So Paul told John to go away for a few minutes and Paul wrote the whole thing while John was gone. Lennon returned and it was done. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
I absolutely love the Beatles and I love every single one of them, John was a total genious I love everything they did as single artist and as a group. it so good to speak with a like minded fan.
Mary Hopkin's singing was extremely boring and dull, she could probably win a kareoke competition,she is now obsolete, the voice and the looks have.gone, but I think they were never there in the first place
