Rob, I really like when you show us various examples of real errors and varieties in pristine condition for various years. This gives us an idea, from a good examples, what we are looking for. Appreciate you and the Your channel. Thanks👍🏻🇺🇸
Love the nickel hunts! When he was about 10 years old, my nephew found a 1939 DDR in a local coin dealer's junk box. He paid 25 cents for it, and sold it on eBay for over $200.
Lot's of finds so that with you going in depth on what you were looking for on some of the coins. Congrats on the upgrade and keep 'em coming! Take Care, Stephen
I’m looking for references on cuds and die breaks. I seem to remember a website that you used, but I have not found the episode when you checked it. Obviously, a web search was not successful. Perhaps a short on the subject? Thanks.
I sample rolls from some of theboxes to see if I can find a new variety or have some blanks and/or misaligned/off-center strikes but do not hunt entire boxes. If there are known varieties for a new release, I will hunt that entire box in hopes of finding some.
At about the 2:15 mark, what is the second coin into that roll? Is that a newer nickel with a buffalo or was that something different? At first glance, to me, it looked like a rat on the coin.
Even though you didn't find the nickels that you're looking for, Rob, I thought this was a decent, informative hunt, especially showing us the different varieties you were looking for while doing it. I am interested in one thing you mentioned in this video. How were you able to tell the 1939 nickels would have no mintmark based on the condition of it? This isn't the first time you've brought this up. Cheers!
Enjoy watching the hunts. Had a question, I notice that most keep the nickels from the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. May I ask what you do with those nickels and how do you find the best way to store them?
A coin in better condition does not indicate a key date BUT some coins are rare in better condition (conditional rarities) and will fetch normal/lower values in low grades but huge premiums if in high grade. This can happen for coins that are notorious for weak strikes.
Newest nickel error. 2022p Jefferson: Looks like he is smoking 🚬 and scar over his left eye. $40 definitely showing up on Ebay for $31 to $40. So don't rule out those 2022 yet Rob. 🤔
I have some coins and Susan B Anthony Dollars some nickels and some pennies that I like you to look at like if you have an email cuz the panty is a 1963 and the other panties of 2000 and I got pictures of them sticking to magnets and also I'd like you to check the Susan B Anthony I'm pretty sure it's the wide border
1:03 Nobody wants to watch 118 episodes of basically the same thing to find out why you are at the point in the album you are currently at. It's not like a TV series or something similar where previous events have an impact on the latest events. You're looking for coins to put in a book. The fact that you actually believe people would go back to the very beginning of this series to watch all ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN episodes that were released before this one is completely and absolutely absurd.

I started a nickel book about a year ago and finally found a 50D in a box of rolls. I need only a 39D to finish the collection.
This was a fun nickel book hunt. Thanks for sharing.
Boxes like this make the boxes with things like 1933-D pennies more delicious.
One is better than none!! Always awesome watching your hunts!! 🤘🤘🤘
Lot's of finds so that with you going in depth on what you were looking for on some of the coins. Congrats on the upgrade and keep 'em coming! Take Care, Stephen
Still a fair/decent box, & definitely a great video, w explanation & examples of what you didn't find!
Keep 'em coming, brother👍❗️
I enjoy your nickel hunt videos.
I love that you show all sides of hunting and not just awesome finds. The struggle is real 😂 good vid Rob 🤘
Thank you Resin! :)
Thanks for showing those examples of doubling, etc. Nice feature.
Yep, very helpful
Awesome nickel hunt and album fill thanks for sharing Rob
Fun hunt for sure! Nice upgrade! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Sometimes the boxes can be rough brother, I did like the added reviews of the varieties during the video Rob 👍
Just hunted my second ever nickel box yesterday, found a 1965 Swiss 20 rappen and a war nickel
Thanks for sharing .
Another great video! You didn't find any silver or buffalo nickels - but nickels are always a fun hunt!
good hunt lots of finds nothing significant but i liked the hunt I always enjoy nickel hunts
Nickels are still on point
1:50 (Rob) You guys know what’s next...
(Us guys) Rob’s gonna slam that first roll on his mat 😂
😂
Enjoy coin roll hunting, I haven't found anything lately either. Still fun to do.🙂
I was number 4 today and I’m ok with that 🤩
Better than being #2! :)
I still enjoyed the hunt

This was Fun !!
Good luck
I'd like to know about the mats you use. Where to get some.

3:56 Who would think "bulbous" isn't a word? And even if it weren't a word, people would still know what you are trying to say.
Can you show your coin collection?would love to see it !!
I’m curious if you hunt the uncirculated boxes or just send them back? I’m sure holding on to the newer varieties will pay off.

Rob, where do you get your key dates mats from? I want to get some for my son who has fallen in love with hunting (partially due to your channel!).

1 of my boxes this week were uncirculated 22-D's , strange for being in the middle of NY
That is odd. I don't think I have ever seen an UNC Philly box.
@@RobFindsTreasure I have a 2021 uncurculated Philly box
Upgrade is good
Where can i get those mats?!

I believe I answered this on last night’s stream brother. Thank you!
@@RobFindsTreasure Yes you did! Thanks for the info!
The pesky 50 d
I suppose i should ask where the best nickel boxes come from as well .. what part of the country ?
Nothing noteworthy but still fun to hunt a box of nickels.
Enjoy watching the hunts. Had a question, I notice that most keep the nickels from the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. May I ask what you do with those nickels and how do you find the best way to store them?
I cull through them and only keep the better condition or better date ones. Then, I add them to my tubes with those dates on them.
Still asking for a dime series 😢
I know... I know.
Why would a coin in better condition indicate a key date?
A coin in better condition does not indicate a key date BUT some coins are rare in better condition (conditional rarities) and will fetch normal/lower values in low grades but huge premiums if in high grade. This can happen for coins that are notorious for weak strikes.
