I find it difficult to ask my driving instructor questions about driving without him becoming annoyed and telling me to use my common sense :/ these videos are really helping me to learn the driving rules, so a big Thankyou!
Aw, we're sorry to hear that your driving instructor acts in that manner :( that's not fair. This is a learning period and you should be able to ask him questions freely. Though, we are happy to hear that the videos are helping! If you have any questions, let us know. :)
I had my test last week and my instructor took me once to the dual carriage way out of 22 lesson and it came in my test. Imagine the amount of rage I have for him.
Hi Francis! I’ve driven on the dual carriageway today for the first time ever!! I was shaking, tingling on my fingers and my heart was racing! Once I’ve got on the carriageway. I was calm down a bit and felt relaxed! 😁
thank you for getting to the point and not waffling. you speak quickly but your words are succinct and get important information across. it's refreshing.
I did a 50mph single carriageway today and I was absolutely shattered after it but the adrenaline buzz I had was unreal 😂 I was absolutely bricking it!
Just wanted to say thank you. This video helped to make crystal clear in my mind how I should be driving on a dual carriageway during my test. I was on a motorbike going for my A licence and you genuinely helped me.
Thanks again. Passed my test with your help, but think it would be really helpful to see a few examples of dealing with traffic merging into your lane.
The dual carriageway usually scares me. This video really helped to gain a better understanding of how to approach a DC in an exam. Thank you for this! :)
Passed 2 months ago but I’m petrified of going on a dual carriage way or motorway, need to go on one today. I have booked a motorway lesson but it’s not until next week.
Binge watching all your videos as I've recently started learning how to drive. There are a lot of maniacs on the road where I live, so it's very much like being thrown in at the deep end 🤣 I'm really enjoying it though, and these videos are helping me no end!
There are dual carriageways just off the test centre where I'm taking my test next week. So been on dual carriageways alot in my lessons going up to 50mph for the speed limit Which has given me so much more confidence. I will either go left at the roundabout and enter a dual carriageway or straight ahead to normal 30mph roads or right to another dual carriageway out of the test center. Im so ready for this 👍 thankyou for the upload Francis
I have seen lots of learners and in this occasion the driving instructor has got this wrong with seconds distance. Dry conditions 2 seconds, Rain/wet 4 Seconds, Ice or Snow 20 seconds (ten times more than on dry not ten seconds)
I love your teaching style!! Your explanations are so easy to understand! I'm really enjoying it through, and these great videos are helping me a lot. Thank you much very for your valuable time. " GREAT TIPS" May God Bless You .
I've got my test in a month and I'm binge watching all the areas I know I need to be stronger at, I'm nervous but ik this can be a touchy subject but I CAN drive just not legally, i'm learning in a manual but I know full well the second I pass I'm getting a auto 🤣
The left lane isn't the slowest lane. Lane 1 could be moving faster than other lanes. The speed limit is the same for all lanes unless stated otherwise.
Thought the separation distance in icy conditions was 10x the normal separation distance? That would be 10 x 2 seconds, making it 20 seconds not 10 seconds
i like the mentioning of checking the blindspot if theres more than 2 lanes. So if there are 2 lanes, is it not necessary to check the blindspot? what if theres a car next to you in your blindspot which you havent seen in the mirror?
You will see them in your mirror if there is a car next to you in the lane beside you. The right blindspot check is for cars that are 2 lanes away from you.
How should drivers on the dusl carriageway behave if a vehicle is coming down the slip road? I was taught to move over or slow down but drivers don't do that anymore. I've had to join a dual carriageway from 0mph on numerous occasions & now people are telling me, "It isn't safe to slow down." Am I wrong for slowing down to allow people in or should I be accelerating as fast as possible past the joining car? Am I the only one who thinks joining a 70 mph road from 0mph is dangerous?
You are wrong with regards to the time difference between you and the car in front in icy/snowy conditions....it is not 10 seconds, it is 20 seconds....
The rule is: When driving in icy or snowy weather you should keep well back from the road user in front as stopping distances can be 10 times greater than on dry roads
Hi There is no Turkish language, I know little English, I want to watch your videos, please, I would be very happy if you put Turkish language as well. Please 🙏
Do you prefer driving on small backroads or larger, busier roads?🤔🚗
@Alison Little Absolutely!
Oh la folle la chanson Oh la folle
Small ones, definitely! I don't feel comfortable and safe on motorways 😐
I find it difficult to ask my driving instructor questions about driving without him becoming annoyed and telling me to use my common sense :/ these videos are really helping me to learn the driving rules, so a big Thankyou!

Get a new driving instructor and ask as many questions as you want, that's what you pay them for instead of getting lessons of your mum
@@tkr6536 a good instructor I patient..
I love these videos !
He s rude 🙄🙄
I had my test last week and my instructor took me once to the dual carriage way out of 22 lesson and it came in my test. Imagine the amount of rage I have for him.
I just drove onto my first dual carriageway at the national speed limit 70MPH felt really fast but I was in ful control of the car and it felt great
I love the way you teach!! Your explanations are so thorough and easy to understand! Stoked I've come across your channel :) x
Hi Francis! I’ve driven on the dual carriageway today for the first time ever!! I was shaking, tingling on my fingers and my heart was racing! Once I’ve got on the carriageway. I was calm down a bit and felt relaxed! 😁

Congrats! Knowledge is key🙌🔑
You're lying because you're like 13 because no one used lol in 2020
🥴After I pass I’m never going to look at a single driving video ever again
when in 5th u just use lower gears to slow
Claiming this😁Thank you
thank you for getting to the point and not waffling. you speak quickly but your words are succinct and get important information across. it's refreshing.
i always have that fear in my head that i wont be able to get onto the carriageway from the slip road
I did a 50mph single carriageway today and I was absolutely shattered after it but the adrenaline buzz I had was unreal 😂 I was absolutely bricking it!
Wow
I did my first 50mph roads too a few weeks ago, it was scary at first but the adrenaline was such a rush! now it just feels normal haha
Just wanted to say thank you. This video helped to make crystal clear in my mind how I should be driving on a dual carriageway during my test. I was on a motorbike going for my A licence and you genuinely helped me.
Thanks much for your helpful videos. I finally did my practical driving test in Tilbury and I passed at first attempt.
Brilliant video, thank you!
Wonderful thanks! Please could you go over how to safely enter a dual carriageway from a slip road?
Thanks again. Passed my test with your help, but think it would be really helpful to see a few examples of dealing with traffic merging into your lane.
8:44 As a person living in rural Wales i cannot imagine living in front of a motorway like this
The dual carriageway usually scares me. This video really helped to gain a better understanding of how to approach a DC in an exam. Thank you for this! :)
Now after 9 months, how do you feel?
@@catalinmg106 A lot more confident since 9 months. I still follow your tips!
I failed on dual carriageway few days ago 😢 hope I can get used to it! Thank you!

I like this dude, explains everything really well, wish he was my driving instructor! 👍
My driving instructor literally took me on a dual carriageway within the first 20 mins of my first ever lesson. I wish he was as good as this guy
I did country lanes with about 9 consecutive double bends
Very helpful, thanks

I can’t wait to learn on motorways etc. I’m more worried about roundabouts 😅

Hello mate just wondering do you indicate to join the dual carriageway agian at

Thanks alot
Superb videos, thank you so much !
Its when the REAR of the lorry lorry is in line with the lamppost you start counting. And you start from 0 and finish as 2.
I find that when i use the 2 second rule people take advantage and cut in front of me
Good explanation 👍👍
❤️
Thank you!!
You're welcome!

At 6.00 you hardly moved your head to check your side view mirror.
You should keep your hands on the steering wheel
❤❤
That helps so much! I was so scared when I first started going 30mph but it's because I'm not used to that speed!
Plz make a video on five ways , animated. Thankyou.
Do you keep 20second gap for driving in the town on single with cars on either side.
Are you allowed to over take bus that drives on the fast lane on dual carriage way from the inner side
Great videos Bud, I love them. But keep at least one hand on the steering wheel when the car is in motion!
Walk at 10mph. Bruh who do you think I am bolt
😂😂😂
Isn't walking pace only 3MPH not 10
I think it would be a good idea to keep at least one hand on the steering wheel when your explaining 🤪
I had car accident long time ago since there my confidence is gone. any tips?
I hate dual carriageway roundabouts, changing gears to get up to speed is difficult
useful content, thank you
Love the vieos wish someone could tell me how to remember to turn my indicators off
Walking at 10mph? Is cocaine cheaper than diesel now 😂
I love your teaching style with your hand miving like singing rap song 🎵 hhhh
You should avoid moving back into the driving lane if you are about to pass a left turn.
Another good watchable informative video, but careful with the granny references, my sister is a driving instructor as well as a grandma.
I've not driven on them much, but I have driven on them.
You are wrong with regards to the time difference between you and the car in front in icy/snowy conditions....it is not 10 seconds, it is 20 seconds....
Snowy and icey conditions is 10 times of the normal conditions not 10 seconds
No it's definitely 10 seconds, 10 times wouldn't really be doable😅 Most driving instructors should suggest 8-10 seconds in winter driving conditions.
The rule is: When driving in icy or snowy weather you should keep well back from the road user in front as stopping distances can be 10 times greater than on dry roads
Is this a re upload
We had a minor technical error😂🤦♀️
You helped me pass my test,,bless u.😆
You were doing 44 in a 40 zone 😅
Thanks a lot, but could you please speak slowly .Some people can not get this quick speaking🙏🏻🙏🏻
💚🚗
Wait who the Heck can walk at 10 mph?!?!
Usain bolt
