And "dominate" can be a transitory and situational condition. Even the best players have off nights, and consequently get run off the floor by their opponents. Every dog has his day. That was some home cookin’ for his soul. It clearly meant a lot that people in Serbia are caring and showing love. Come to think of it, I makes sense for major Americans sports publications/websites to have translators for superstars that aren’t native English speakers. English is tough, looks at every comments page. Get them speaking in their native tongue and you bet higher quality answers because they have a bigger and more accessible working vocabulary and will try harder with their answers because you are putting the work in for them bringing a translator. Superstars love a good work ethic because they are all relentless.

That's a great story man, thanks for sharing.
We can hardly express how proud of you we are in your city! Greetings from Sombor, we are always with you
He's making history right now and we're all here to enjoy watching it. He's making his country proud. Incredible person and player.
As an American sports fan, I enjoy these moments when foreign players raise the profile of their small homelands.
As an European I enjoy the fact that our best players come play in your leagues and raise their level (and global reach) by dominating them.
@@IlfStoyanov I would reject the term "dominate." That's a strong word, and highly inaccurate. Let's just say the Euro players have proven they can hold their own. That says everything.
And "dominate" can be a transitory and situational condition. Even the best players have off nights, and consequently get run off the floor by their opponents. Every dog has his day.
Like all NBA players, Luka Doncic may dominate one night and the next night get his ass handed to him. As we Black people like to say, "Eventually everybody gets got."
@Iliyan You got offended because he used the word "small," lol. It's so obvious.
@@NatTurnerswitBurnerz I thought so as well. I meant no offense. The US is a vast country of 330 million people. New York City has more people than the country of Serbia. So it is a small nation comparatively speaking. But I apologize if some take offense.

Zigic: Congratulation for your historical performance. Important first win here in Miami.
Joker: Yes, I have received many greetings from Serbia telling me they all have been still awake for this match. Thanks to them of course.
For the game. It was an important game for us because we could immediately get the re-break for that loss in Denver.
I think we had everything under control and when we were up in front we never gave the lead away. We had big support from our bench who played fantastically.
They gave us the win.

Serbia is turning into the Harvard for the sports world. Do not forget about Luka from Slovenian. He is taking this to heart big time, and most likely practicing after each playoff game if he’s worth his salt. These two guys are my favorites because they are first a gentleman and then a super-basketball player to top it off. They bring back the “Like for basketball” that Magic, Bird, Jordan, and Kobe embodied.
