- I recently picked up the Laco Aachen 39 Oliv; at first glance an unremarkable Fleiger watch but it has a few tricks up its sleeve.

Got one of these 250 as well, if I could only wear two of my watches for the rest of my life, this would be one of them.
If I had to sell all but one of my 10 watches, this is what I would keep.
Since oliv my favorite color, I'm a WWII aviation nerd, and it does sit really well on the wrist.
People do talk about Laco, but I still think they are really underrated for what they are.
Nice job on buying this one :D
Awesome! Glad to hear you are enjoying yours. And yes Laco is very underrated and I still haven't seen another Flieger that looks as good as this watch!
Nice cinematography and great commentary.
These cockpit instruments look even better once they get a few battle scratches so don't flip it too early!
As a side note, I wouldn't go out of my way explaining this watch's heritage to a non-watch enthusiast for the same reason I wouldn't wear Hugo Boss suit of that "heritage"
Question:
If money was no limitation would you go for a type 20 chronograph(Hanhart, Blancpain, Mathey-Tissot) instead of this B-dial?
Thanks I appreciate it! And yes you're right I guess most people aren't going to ask anyway so it isn't much of an issue. As for the type 20 chrono I really like the Hanhart Pioneer collection but I don't think I would swap this watch for the Hanhart... I would have to make room for both haha!
