It's a stainless steel case that is slightly elongated with 2 crowns (one above the other) because it has 2 time zones. Thus 2 watches. It's a beautiful watch that gets many compliments and is a great conversation starter.

Imo you can do a oris rectangular, hamilton boulton quartz or a dolce vita. Can't afford any of them? Stick with a bambino for a dress piece.

I'm considering the Accurist Origin 40mm in gold. There are two versions, either quartz movement or automatic at £309. It's very much a PRX looker but somewhat cheaper and with a white dial what's not to like!!

I bought a pair of no apron split toe, Dario Dodoni, italian average brand, i think leather is pecarry or warthog, so soft, and people starying at my feet so deep, for 3,5 euros, from trift store🎉

I would totally wear those shoes, at least 20 times per year. I have six pairs of various spectators that get circulated throughout the year, but none combo-ed like those beauties. Just today on this late summery day I wore my chestnut brown and linen specs with white seersucker pants, a burgundy linen shirt, brown panama trilby and a pair of tortoise shell Persols. I looked like Sam Giancana (before he got whacked). I think the black based spec is definitely geared to more formal dress like with a dark suit or some dark wool trousers such as you demonstrate. But I wonder if they might also work well with moleskin, or summer dress trousers in black or grey seersucker and cotton pincord (like something from Haspel), or even a dark linen too. But not in a modern skinny cut. It's just m/h/o but I think the pants and shoes would pair better if the leg and opening were a fuller classic cut and the hem was at a half or full brake on the shoe tongue.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

What the tissot prx and hamilton khaki lines did to the mid range is what rolex does to the 10k dollar range. Yes sure you can buy a longines, a oris or something like that or you can go cheaper and buy a japanese watch but the prx is a nice middle ground. Just like rolex is to entry level luxury watches like the smp300 or tudor bb and the ultra uber high end stuff like ap and blancpain for example. Yes you can go up and you can go down in price and sure you may get something a little better but the improvement for the money spent or the quality sacrificed for the money saved just isn't worth it.

i still don't get it, what watch nerds see in the PRX, it does not stand head and shoulders over the competition, its boring ..

It really is a gorgeous watch Louis, it absolutely is a gateway drug to higher end watches lol. Watches come and go from collections but I have a feeling you'll have that PRX for the rest of your life.
