Not only was George so young, so calm and cool, and so professional, but upon arrival in NYC, George caught either a bad cold or actually a mild flu. A doctor went up to his hotel room and gave George some meds (anti-biotics, I suppose) and George rested a little AND HE DID THE SHOW!
Even the terrible video quality can't harm this magnificent performance. I remember actually watching this on the Sullivan Show when I was only seventeen. Thanks for the memory.

I liked the early Beatles much more and did not like or care for their newer songs that they released after their ill fated visit to India where they fried their brains and ruined their good music writing talents and abilities.
