I find it kind of bittersweet in a way that this is all that it took for people to have their minds blown back in the day. Just four working class lads with a good tune and a great vibe. Now it's feels like nothing would give us the same level of excitement and entertainment as this group did back then.
@@Phil-tt3xg I wouldn't think so, nowadays people dunk on the Beatles for being 'corny' or 'overplayed.' Most of my classmates seem to pay attention to modern pop/rap. Personally, they're great; they were pioneers of music.
Interesting. I wonder if it is the desensitization of humans now or just how revolutionary this kind of music was for this demographic back that. Electric guitar music and bands like this were soo new. Now it's been decades and we have countless millions of bands of every color shape and size now. We def are desensitized though, that has to play a part in it at least a good deal I'd think.
The last 25-30 years we've been taken over by autotune. Every1 uses it, it can enhance every1 and make even a mediocre singer sound good. Not great, but good. But imo it also makes most music sound alike. I think, every1 has gotten used music having to compensate for autotune singing voices, if a tune is to stand out these days, there has to be something complex about the music. Im 51, so I can say "kids today" - kids today simply didnt grow up with real singing voice. They dont know, what it was like, when the voice had to carry the tune. Most of the music, I prefer, is older than I am. From when it was the voice, that counted, that did the work. Even the good artists these days, even those with actual good singing voices, just do the same performances. And it seems for those growing up in the age of autotune, real singing voices just dont sound right to them. Theyre missing so much.
I watched this as a curious fan in real time when I was 12 & was hypnotized - today at 69 I'm still captivated by their magic, & still loving the ongoing journey that's there. Long live The Beatles !

If they would push new talent then the skies the limit ... We need to break away from regurgitaion electronic music and get Hollywood out of Nashville
Didn't you leave a comment on"I Wanna Hold Your Hand"? Hello again =)
If they did go together, it would be awkward Silence, You should watch How They Met Elvis.
leokimvideo especially in the days b4 social media, streaming,iTunes and so on......they did by word of mouth and it spread all over the world
I remember that night. I was seven. The Ed Sullivan Show was usually on past our bedtime. But my dad ran into our rooms and woke us up to see the Beatles. We sat on the floor in front of the black and white TV in our little jammies, and that was the start of my life for real.
I was 11 and that's when I started playing guitar
I was nine at the time and I remember watching this show it was my dad that introduced me to the Beatles they were my world and nothing else existed, I think my dad loved them as much as I did.
Dawn it ! i was 8 back than! Fell in love with the guitar 🎸 sound , started practicing! I am 60 now and I still can’t play the guitar 🎸 dawn it!!!!!!!.. where the hell was i when talent! Was distributed! Among humans!!!!! Chingao!!!...
Your dad sounds awesome.
it's magic! I realized at this moment that I'm listening, it's been exactly 60 years since they were there, performing at the Ed Sullivan Show! Long live the Beatles!

Paul and George: "OOoOoOoh"
Girls: *lose their shit* AHHAHHHGHGHGHGHGHHG!!!
Every FRICKEN time
To be honest i do that to😂
Me: **reads this comment**
Also me: why does it say every chicken time
Also also me: **reads closley** oh not very chicken time
the little head bobble they do, it's on purpose because they know we love it
Look at Jonh's face, he's sad to sing and the girls just scream because of Paul's "uuuuh" 😂😂
So true
Who agrees that this is the best band ever?
Samuel Bustillo queen
It's more than a band!
Queen will never be in the greatest band discussion
Queen will never be in the greatest band discussion
@@johnnymoondogs1816 actually it's in the discussion but one step behind The Beatles
I find it kind of bittersweet in a way that this is all that it took for people to have their minds blown back in the day. Just four working class lads with a good tune and a great vibe. Now it's feels like nothing would give us the same level of excitement and entertainment as this group did back then.
They would.
@@Phil-tt3xg I wouldn't think so, nowadays people dunk on the Beatles for being 'corny' or 'overplayed.' Most of my classmates seem to pay attention to modern pop/rap. Personally, they're great; they were pioneers of music.
They will always keep me excited and I wasn't born when they were big
Lost my mother this year... This song, this song just is, just is why I miss her so much, love it ❤
I watched this as a curious fan in real time when I was 12 & was hypnotized - today at 69 I'm still captivated by their magic, & still loving the ongoing journey that's there. Long live The Beatles !
Does any else like the raspiness in John's voice?
yesss 😍
Love
Best feature and his nasaly sound is iconic
Yaas
My favorite part has to be when Paul and George shake their heads and woooooo... 😂😂😂
Pastel_ Beatlesx and then every girl in the crowd creams their pants screaming so hard. 😂
@@nathanbell6853 they put caution wet floor signs after the performance.
@@gamerboy0499 😂
Some of the coolest guys around!
I just love the fact that they always bow after each performance, what a gentlemen
I never noticed this before! I wonder if this was common for this TV show, group, or all bands at the time?
@@CallieMasters5000 Some may have, but the Beatles doing it (and the suits, etc.) were the influence of their manager, Brian Epstein, who cleaned up their image.
@@CallieMasters5000 As far as I know, it was common at the time for singers to bow to the audience just like in the theater
It was added to their stage act by Brian Epstein, in addition to the suits and ties. Theatricality.
Man, I hope these guys make it big some day.
no...never made it big.....there want be on than....
Nah they are good but not good enough, too mainstream
This joke is as old as the band

Bob in Mon what was it like? I’m a huge beatlemanic lol and so I just want to know what it was like living in a time when they were a band.
I was 12 when I saw them on tv on the Ed Sullivan show and I was one of the many girls back then screaming for the Beatles!!! I still LOVE them at 72!!! ❤

Ringo:Drumroll
Ringo: watching butts for his cue

Paul & George: UUUUUUUHHHHH
funny not found sorry
I'll never forget watching them on Ed Sullivan all those years ago. They brought about a sea change in American culture. Boys like my brother let their hair grow long, to the horror of older types. Kids started garage bands. Every girl had her favorite Beatle. And they had hit after hit. Sgt. Pepper was a revelation.
Hello pretty lady...
the beatles did so well and I so much believe they're all doing well in heaven right now. how long have you become a fan of the beatles?
Thanks so much for liking my aproch. how long have you been a fan of the beatles and where're you from?
the beatles' hair was quite short compared to some of their contemporaries

The Beatles at their best. So pure, so honest simply playing their instruments and naturally singing.👏👏👏
Absolutely brilliant.
I was eleven when I heard this song. I'm now a grandmother and I still miss those times what came latter crazy.
