@@amandaslough125 Fourth episode is when the dark plot begins (a certain character's death). I would know because I watched it with every friend I recommended it to (about six times now). So when we give it the three episode test I tell them to watch the fourth episode.
Kyubey is also a very wholesome character. He literally goes around parks and picks up underaged girls offering them candies and everything but with a heavy price. He also has no fingertips, something that helps his ''work''
I always curious about Kyubey. Is he a liar? From what he said, it seems like his schtick is withholding the full truth, but he never spoke outright lies... Except when he talked his great vision to Madoka, how magical girls help humanity and such... only for it to be disproven when it becomes apparent that soon humanity will be destroyed, and the destruction was brought by magical girls and Kyubey's actions. Was he lying then? Was he just as unaware about the impending doom as everyone else except Homura? It seems that even for his advanced race magic is terra incognita, maybe Kyubey was playing with fire without knowing how it'll burn everything.
Episode 3 was a MINDblowingly wholesome episode of the show. I couldn't get over the fact how they made it HEAD in a soft and cute direction. They really were aHEAD of us

Yes! Even if you're a person who typically doesn't like cute and wholesome things, you should watch ep 3 all the way to the end at least once. You might be surprised by how much you like it!
This is a show I never started because as you said, I thought it would be some discount glitter force, sailor moon type show; but if the homie says to watch it you have to, especially with the way the video ended.

I’ve been watching anime since the early 2000’s and the 3rd movie Rebellion is imo one of the greatest movies I have ever watched. At no point in my life have I ever experienced so many different emotions in such a short span of time. I think the show is given proper recognition, but a lot of newer anime fans haven’t taken the time to watch the show. I would recommend it to anyone, just an amazing experience.

Madoka, my favorite anime... it has intricate plot, detailed characters with emotional development, it makes think about and cherish the safe loving relationships you have with your friends and family. It shows how powerful hopes and dreams can be and in the end gives us a new appreciation of what a Magical Girl show can really be... ...if you don't know the show then everything you think you've just read is wrong; if you have seen it then you know every word is true. Just watch it.

The glitch effect before you reveal the truth to those who have never seen the show is a nice touch of foreshadowing for the ending. Great anime, would recommend, despite its horrific nature.

I wanted to know why the plot description didn't match the fanart of Homura. Naturally, going into the series, I assumed it was darker than expected. There was just one plot twist I didn't expect that showed up in episode
Literally just watched all 12 episodes yesterday because my friends kept telling me to Yeah, it's one of the greatest stories I've ever watched, the characters are great, the story is phenomenal and tragic, and the way its all written is mind bending and insanely unexpected. The Opening is purely misleading, it totally gives the vibe of "this is a girl trying to figure out the new power she's given with the help of her friends" and that's not even close to the story in the slightest. I'm so glad I was told to watch it, one of my favourite experiences, and I wanna give a massive F to the homie Sayaki Miki, she had the worst go out goddamn.
Team Germany cosplayed Madoka and Homura at the World Cosplay Summit this year. They uploaded their video entry for the video division only recently. I guess you have to know the anime to fully enjoy tne experience tho. So go watch the anime now. Do it.

I just finished watching it. It is is 100% worth your time and is a fantastic show. You really have to watch it to understand why people love it so much and why it’s so good. Madoka Magica has its fair share of wholesome moments but it’s so much more than that. I can’t really say anything more or else I will spoil everything. All I can say is expect the unexpected and good luck.
I had ideas of creating magical boys for the next Madoka Magica show and one of my characters I created is the Green Lamp Corporation who are the good magical boys while their enemy is the Red Lamp Corporation are the bad magical boys who is led a leader named Velocitus (name after his saurian physique)
I could argue that the power of friendship is in fact showcased in Madoka Magica, though not in the way you might think at first (can't really explain because of spoilers). Though the Magia Record spinoff is really more about the power of friendship.

I just finished watching it. It is is 100% worth your time and is a fantastic show. You really have to watch it to understand why people love it so much and why it’s so good. Madoka Magica has its fair share of wholesome moments but it’s so much more than that. I can’t really say anything more or else I will spoil everything. All I can say is expect the unexpected and good luck.

I had ideas of creating magical boys for the next Madoka Magica show and one of my characters I created is the Green Lamp Corporation who are the good magical boys while their enemy is the Red Lamp Corporation are the bad magical boys who is led a leader named Velocitus (name after his saurian physique)

I could argue that the power of friendship is in fact showcased in Madoka Magica, though not in the way you might think at first (can't really explain because of spoilers). Though the Magia Record spinoff is really more about the power of friendship.
