It's still hurting, the loss of her brother. The loss of her father is hurting her too. You can see the pain in her eyes from the loss of her father and her brother. In many ways, probably more so from the loss of her brother, her best friend and companion. As a daughter, you miss your father and it never leaves you but you learn to deal with it because parents naturally leave before the kids. As a sister though, the pain always lives on, especially losing them so prematurely, as with Shannon.. So tragic.....

I read Matt Polly's new book, very good. At BL's Hong Kong funeral, Brandon had an angry look. Shannon of course was just a toddler. But heart breaking to imagine Brandon at that age, and growing up. Ditto for Shannon, as you said.

Maybe it is a message to tell us if you want an immortal life you should work hard for the afterlife, because there is no death in the Heaven.

I remember as a child that my eldest brother and many others in our community loved Bruce Lee films and we were Caribbean people living in England. Films like Enter the Dragon where there were Caucasian, African and Asian actors were very welcoming. Your brother's death was tragic but you have a interesting family heritage. God bless you.

While he grew up in Hong Kong when the Japanese were over-running China, in America one of his best friends in Seattle was Taky Kimura, Japanese-American; he almost married a Japanese American girl, too. His friends and students were from many ethnicities. So I don't see it as 'a shame' that he married a blonde.
Shannon's a great Martial Artist as well. I wasn't aware that she knew how to fight until a couple of years ago. I wasn't surprised though! Awesome legacy he left behind! We love him to this day!

If he was satisified with this name, he would have lived upon the expectation of the others. He was just simply Incredible. 48 years after his leaving this world for another he is beyond famous , he is more than a Legend , he has surpassed becoming a Icon. Bruce Lee is as well known as Buddah and likely just as worshipped by some. He has become the Lord and God of Martial Arts. He is Martial Arts and more specifically he is who most think of when Martial Arts are the topic. Thats just who he is and will always be. He is very much alive. He may not be Alive physically but his spirit and presence is undoubtedly very much alive. RIP Brandon & Bruce

Bruce Lee was definitely a martial artist instead of a "superstar". He doesn't like being called as a "star" because it is what the public called him. If he was satisified with this name, he would have lived upon the expectation of the others. His life gives us such an inspirational reminder that we must be totally self~sufficient and nof being dependent upon the others.

This interview was way too short. I don't think anyone knows as much about Bruce as Shannon. It's amazing how shes kept his legacy alive.
