Great review, Abby!! I have the Vivomove HR Premium. It's a beautiful watch, but nowadays, the display is barely viewable. I believe Garmin changed the technology of these hybrid watches (hopefully, they will last longer). By the way, it's always a joy to watch your detailed reviews in your sweet and friendly voice. Thanks for the insightful review. You are the only reviewer I have found so far to show how the watch looks in darkness. I am thinking that you will have to wake the screen to glance at the time during the night or in a dark area?
Hi Mortimer Livan, yes you have to wake the screen to view it in dark lightning or at night.

Great review! Thanks so much for incorporating the info on incoming 3rd party app notifications! Excellent. ... I have one more question on this topic if I may: When a brand new 3rd party app (i.e. WhatsApp) notification comes in and is displayed on the screen, do you see the sender and a short preview of the message as well - just by looking at your wrist and without having to go into the notification menu on the watch? Or is that only with SMS and would you have to dive into the notifications menu in order to see these details from messages from other apps?
Thank you 😊. And no problem! Just like text messages, WhatsApp notifications will show the sender and a breif message preview when they pop up.

I’m new to researching Garmin and determining between this and the Venu, possibly Liliy 2 since I’m smaller. I lean towards this watch for the sole reason of it being hybrid. I do a a lot of HIIT and Weightlifting, sounds like the heart rate monitor isn’t as good as the Venu or Lily2?
I’m realizing quickly that Garmin has too many choices and it’s overwhelming
Hello, if you're planning to do a lot of HIIT i would go with the Venu personally, as it tracks HIIT, has onscreen animated workouts and auto rep counting thats helpful for weight training. Hello! Yes, you can accurately track the walks distance in km or miles, as long as you're connected to your smartwatch, during the walk.

Hello scarab09, I don't notice a difference in vibration instensity between these 2 smartwatches. Both have a light vibration.
Hey, please answer, a few of my concerns.
1. Can I use the timer in the workout mode?
2. can I customize the timer function as a swipe shortcut?
Hi, you cannot use the timer while working out. And no but alternatively, if you hold down on the display from the homescreen you can open the clock option and use the timer as seen here 07:11 in the video.
Ps. If you want a Garmin watch that can use timers at the same time as a workout or you want the ability to create custom interval workouts I'd recommended checking out the Garmin Venu 2S, Vivoactive 4S and/or Fenix series watches. And I've done full reviews on all those watches as well.

Hello! I'd say the peach gold is more similar to rose gold than to a yellow gold for sure. Im a rose gold lover so i like it but as you dont, I'd chosoe another colour. Hope that helps :)

Hello! The display can scratch if you're not careful. I'd recommended using a screen protector if you're worried about that. I always use screen protectors myself.
Being a current fitbit sense user. Which garmin would you recommend?
Hi Rachelle, I'd recommend the Garmin Venu Sq 2 if you want to stick to a square watch. Otherwise the Garmin Vivoactive 4S or Garmin Venu 2S would offer a similar experience to the Sense but with more functionality ie. music downloads, womens health app, longer battery but, no voice assistant. If you want voice assistant check out the Garmin Venu 2 Plus! I've also done reviews on all of them :)

Hmm between this and the sport, its a hard choice, but would you say the sport js better value? The lower price point is definitely calling me lol
If you don't need the wireless charging and other features on the Trend the Sport is definitely a nice option at a great price point.

Hi, it does not have a rotating bezel. And I don't have any watches with a rotating bezel currently. That is a not super common feature nowadays, and is usually found in larger smartwatches.

Hello, I think both are nice smartwatches so I'd recommend both but, I do prefer the Sport for the design though.
Any idea why calendar not updating on watch face?
Not sure why the calendar wouldn't update, i haven'thad that issue. I'd try synching the Vivomove, and make sure it is up to date with the latest firmware. If that doesn't doesnt work I'd recah out to Garmin customer service for assistance.
@@AbbyBReviewing I used Techie watch face, and used Calendar as Complication 2. I updated my google calendar by adjusting the event time. Then I watched my watch if it will update automatically without swiping on the watch.
How many days the the battery is alive?

Hello! I am not sure I have not used WhatsApp for calls in a long time. It always vibrates for WhatsApp messages so I assume it would for calls to but I cant confirm that.

I have a Vivo Style and WhatsApp notifications does not work.
Also it would be nice if the clock glow in the dark. I cant the hour when its dark

Every colour option Trend has a different design. And I have not had issues viewing the watch hands.
Those watch hands not moving out of the way is a major con. That's a big bug that needs to be addressed.
Yes it was definitely annoying at times but thankfully after updating & resetting the watch, the hands move fine now!
