I find that the Spreader would get plugged too often and it's very time consuming to unplug. I need new knives on the rotors which might help the situation but I had the bale buster anyways so that's what we are using for now.
@@valleyridgefarms I'm debating buying a machine for spreading/feeding that can handle both dry hay and silage bales. But I'm having a tough time justifying a new one and used ones are hard to find.
Do you feed whole cereals of corn? It’s unrolled or cracked? Can sheep and lambs break the corn cereals apart? I saw one other sheep producer feed straight corn.
Great job!!! Thank goodness sheep are herd animals!!! So glad things turned out good!!! Have a blessed day!!!
Not only did you get a surprise, you got your exercise in for the day! :) At least they went back to the barn and not down the road.
Nice video thanks for sharing
Ah well done getting those sheep back on your own, some of the sheep I know you would need two good dogs to do that 👍
it was the scary white snow that they did not want to walk across
Yes, you're probably right.
Wondering why you are not using the straw speader for feeding also.
