I love how despite the name of the series, the title of Beastar became virtually pointless by the end of the story. It's like Naruto never becoming Hokage or Luffy never becoming Pirate King.
Blame it on the rushed ending. But we can have hope for the anime, its going in a different approach to the last arc after all. (Pls pls pls Anime let Juno have a happy ending, not what we got)
Because the Beastar was just an figurehead puppet to keep the sides in line Fact of the matter is notice we only see Herbivores being picked and pushed to be Beastars. There were carnivores maybe in the past but they did not have any power to fix the issue with higher up Herbivores breathing down their neck. Even Louis found out early the title is BS to the point he quit and joined the Lions after he reported the kidnappings and the Mayor a Lion allowed it to happen
Um, yeah. The manga was even more excessive and forced with the whole fang ripping out thing. This is honestly a good change here because seriously? How in the hell would Legoshi even be able to rip all of the teeth out of his mouth and somehow not be left screaming in utterly agonizing pain with blood spraying everywhere? I think taking out only the four main fangs makes much more sense. It seems like the manga version just went over the edge with the shock value of this scene and the anime has pulled back that aspect, and given the ridiculous, illogical nature of the former it's thus reasonable to see why they had altered this part for the adaptation.

Sugar is one of the harder naturally occurring substances, we even selectively bred, and genetically modified our current fruits to be sweeter, larger, and at a higher yield. Not to mention, Yahya eating a healthy sugar isn’t that horrible (minus being a horse. Too much sugar can physically impact their limbs- search laminitis) with his high energy lifestyle. Hunting top criminals, gardening, those are extremely taxing on the body, with sugar being a great source for fueling the body (as is carbs.)
Got to this part in the manga and was like "Okay, so this is getting a tiny bit off the rails." Like don't get me wrong, loved all of it, but the further into the manga, the more the plot seems to just go haywire and Legoshi is doing some of the most insane things due to his unique way of thinking towards herbivores.
This might be a dumb question and a pretty insignificant one but, why is Yahya's tail blue? Am I the only one that notices that his tail is a different colour compared to his fur? Is there a reason for this or is it just a random design choice?
@_Dar_29 Most likely it's too prevent the hair of his tail from becoming a nuisance in combat without having to cut it short or shave it completely. Horse tails are mostly the hair. Think of something like a braid or ponytail, and that's about the same function.

Yahya isn't racist. You can't equate racism to animals just based on what they eat. The situation is different. Plus Yahya's best friend was a carnivore. He doesn't hate carnivores. He hates the idea of mixed blooded animals and for good reason. Being born mixed blood causes all sorts of problems for the children both physically and mentally. Yahya doesn't feel that it's fair to have mixed children just to watch them suffer.
You'd be surprised considering how easy it is to break or otherwise knock out a tooth. Legosi has been in a few fights, and he's a carnivore living in a world where eating meat is frowned upon, so his teeth might be a bit looser than you'd think. Plus they're canines so there's a bit more leverage to work with. And Legosi is freakishly strong and kind of crazy, but even so you hear him struggling more and more with each tooth as the pain sets in. Plus, in the manga he gets horribly delirious from the pain and blood loss.

Does Legoshi also pay attention to this in the anime, or does he not have his fangs until the last episode of the first part of the third season? 1.
