Because back then swift only took 5 days to get your CDL prime was much longer like 90 days . I did 30 days with a trainer and then lease my truck because I came with my cdl from swift.
This story was in 2005 then I leased a truck trough prime right after I got cdl for 1 year. Then I went local for 14 year's. I brought my first truck from Canada last year they delivered it to my front door. I made a video about it. Go check it out best decision could have ever made. It changed my life.

If you are maxing out your 70 hrs every week. I would estimate close to 40,000 but that is before any deduction you may have. Your biggest deductions will be fuel,maintenance and insurance . If your Home every you can gross about 33,000 plus expenses. If you have a truck and trailer note deduct that Too.
