I would like to add an 11th tool that is often forgotten by educators and catches you off guard when you don't have it. It is also a more expensive option. A computer for editing (Laptop or desktop). Too many educators assume that you already have one. But many people starting especially these days may simply have only a smartphone or tablet. Perhaps a Chromebook, or an older budget laptop (That may not efficient for editing Videos (4K or HD). Unless you want to edit on your smartphone, a computer capable for video editing is absolutely essential. It also may cost a decent amount of money depending on what your looking to get out of it. Otherwise it's not something you will be satisfied with for $100 or $200. This should definitely be included and I always recommend new filmmakers to implement into their budget for gear.
Agree. I'm just starting out and my videos are terrible, loll. I looked at all editing software available, free and paid, and without a fast computer with a graphics card, editing will take a long time even for one video! Good observation!
Thank you sooooooo much for sharing this video. GOSH...I'm an entry level video editor using Final Cut Pro X, but sometimes I want to use something on the go. I have Canva and recently installed Capcut, BUT I think I will get rid of both of those and download Davinci. I REALLY want to start using my phone more, since I'm on the go and sometimes don't carting my camera around...phone accessories are MAJOR. YOU HELPED bring clarity to these questions...GOD BLESS YOU🙏 And YES I plan to take your video editing courses.
I am totally loving the course I’ve got from you the 13 Day Film Making course and now you’ll having another amazing one using smart phones. You guys are totally genius and kind hearted because those courses are way too valuable because there’s too much information in the course at a very affordable price. I wish all the best if seccess.
Big thanks for this great content Anthony! I’ve just purchased the 14 Day Filmmaker Course and I am super excited to getting started. The effort which you guys put in the course and your YT content is priceless. Such an YT channel needs 1 million+ subscribers. Mark my words.
Wonderful video, Thank you for sharing such an informed and easily understood video on gear possibilities that I've had questions on for a while now! As a new content creator and new to TH-cam period, this clearcut video has given me the most value yet! I look forward to taking your 14 day course on filmmaking, as I have no experience whatsoever in this arena. I very rarely do any editing, due to a lack of knowledge. Great job! ❤😻🐾 Alicia
Two things. I found a lot of value in this video, very thankful for the info and the links. So much so, that I was seriously thinking of purchasing your online course. That being said, although the information is very good, I don't find the quality of this video to be very good. The lighting seems off, and even though I started watching it in 720p, the quality didn't seem much different after changing it to 1440p (which I found odd, because this isn't the case for most youtube video I watch). That makes me think y'all have filmmaking knowledge, but aren't actually good at excecuting it, ya feel me? So idk, I'll take a look at the rest of your channel to make my final decision. Update: It's evident y'all are professionals, but I just don't personally like the aesthetics of your videos, and that's okay, we all prefer different looks. Regardless, the information you share is very good, so I will subscribe and I will purchase the course. Thanks again.
…and you contradictory point is….”I don’t like the look of your videos as you’re not applying what you are professing to teach, but I’ll purchase your course so I too can produce an equivalent…” makes sense…not…
awesome tips, this video is packed with useful information 🤩 and even if the last recommendation is basically your goal with the video (i.e. selling your product), I can't agree more - one should only spend on expensive gear when you really understand what that gear is going to provide you
Came across this video on Prime Day... I bought the 14 Day Filmmaker during Covid and realized that the course allowed me to become part of the top 1% in the world in terms of photography and filming knowledge. SUPER VALUE, and can't wait to use the additional equipment from Prime after re-visiting this video!
i do vlogging just by my iphone 13. only thing you need have believe in yourself and everything will come with it. Best of Luck if you are trying to start on youtube. If i can start, you too.
Great job. Glad i found this. I am just starting to make training videos from my samsung for driver training courses. Future video how to add audio after recording the video... i find i dont talk much while filming outside plus the wind noise on the smart phone mic.. as well it seems i always forget a key teaching point while filming cars driving around the track-street
Hello. I would like to purchase the 14 Day Filmmaker Smartphone Edition set. I have a question. I don't know english. There is automatic translation on youtube, I use it. Can I watch this training set on youtube after purchasing it? . Because I use automatic translation on youtube.

Hi, I just found video and really love it. If it’s possible I would love a video on best gear for festival and similar events. Using a phone. Because thats whole other setting which is harder to control and would love to see your tips and tricks on that. :)
Thanks for the video. What extra smartphone (micro) lens do you suggest for taking photos/videos of gemstones and crystals where the purpose is to show the details of the subject?
Sweet!!! You guys are Awesome!!! Totally Trust everything you guys share and follow everything you teach!! So happy to be apart of your creative Team students!!
I have been in love with you guys since I bought the 14 day film maker. I enjoyed the step by step process. Great job. I would love to connect with you one on one.
Love to hear that! We would love to connect with you as well. RIght now, we're running at stretched super thin with work time as it is so we only do 1-on-1's with our mastermind members. Hope you understand :)
Hi! Good video! Silly question here: if you’re going to film yourself with your iphone but don’t want to use your front camera, because you want the best quality out of it, how do you frame it? Or even focus it? Because with that arrangement you can’t technically see the screen… do you use some sort of mirror? Hahaha thank you very much, I’d appreciate an answer
If I'm filming handheld and walking around I usually switch to the wide lens and then do a little cropping in post to frame myself how I like. If it's setup on a tripod I will usually record a few test clips where I sit/stand in different positions before settling on exactly where I want to be when I record.
You are stuff are too expensive, but I agree, they are cool and VERY good quality, but for people who just start their channel/ project, it would be too expensive now, maybe later. But still thank you for sharing them with us!
I have a regular lightning to 3.5 adapter and I just tested it with with my Synco S6E mike, and to my surprise it worked fine. It doesn't look like one needs any special kind of adapter.
how do you bring the videos you shoot onto your phone to edit on the computer, do i use an external hard drive to transfer the videos to edit? Also im running out of storage i only have 64 gb when i film what do i do.
Just looking on the Apple store to find daVinci resolve and I cannot find it have they removed it or renamed it please could you help me out with this. Thanks so much.
In our program 14 Day Filmmaker we have training series on Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I think Final Cut Pro is good, but in a world where DaVinci Resolve is free, works on all computers, and is more powerful (in my eyes) I don't personally ever recommend Final Cut Pro.
hi! The 14-day kinda course for smartphones: how would I know if my smartphone is good enough to be able to do the things you mention there? Is there like a minimal requirement of phone type?
Mannn I love your content and it's so helpful though I haven't started yet.. Question. I want to do the 14 day film maker but do I need to have video program's already or it will walk me through everything? If this a stupid question my bad, I'm new to this trying to become true to this
Thinking getting your course to assist me for real estate content and personal vlogging and travel. My pain is which app I can use to edit. I'm completely new to video making and never edited a video. Need help at this point.
Thanks for this. Really well put together and very informative, while keeping it very simple. Gave me some great tips and advice and hopefully my videos will now see a big improvement. Thanks again :-)
Really enjoy how 14 day Filmmaker breaks the content down into easily learn tutorials. This helped me to create professional commercials for my clients each and every film session.
There are so many video editing programs out there, I've never used VSDC so I can't comment on it. But as far as popularity, price, and power are concerned. DaVinci resolve is a hands down no-brainer. Super popular, free, and extremely powerful.

Hey, I am looking for a setup to shoot cricket matches. Any recommendations pls
Thanks for this brother . You’re serving others 🙏
Very good!
I'd add a grip or cage... something to give you a solid hold on the camera and allow connection of a mic and light when doing hand-held.
thanks for that, do you have a link?
Hey there! thanks for that. Is it possible to connect both an external drive and a wireless mic to iPhone 15, while using DJI osmo mobile 6?
I like how the shot at 2:32 is actually a render from warframe (a videogame)
Zhiyun-Tech CRANE-M3 is a good gimbal and can update to mirrorless ... lumafusion is a great editing program
Nice one! 👍
Awesome this is such a great video on accessories!!!

Great video. I've been looking for tips on how to get started on video editing. I shoot with my S22 ultra. Thx
So how are you attaching the wireless go II to the phone when on the DJI OM5?
Do you have a link to your phonecase? I am in desperate need of one covering the camera of the phone. Thanks! :)
Wow great collection 😊 I wish I can afford to
Simple and amazing. Thank you for making this.
You're very welcome!
Thank you for the tips🔥
Absolutely!
very usefull guide thanks
Thanks for mentioning video editing and hard drive
Can you do a video on camera focus on a iPhone13 when recording a video the focus goes away when you go in close or step away from an object
We'll add it to the list and poll our audience to see if enough people want to learn this!
Thanks for the video. What extra smartphone (micro) lens do you suggest for taking photos/videos of gemstones and crystals where the purpose is to show the details of the subject?
How do you attach the lens to the iPhone? Is it a special case ?
Sweet!!! You guys are Awesome!!! Totally Trust everything you guys share and follow everything you teach!! So happy to be apart of your creative Team students!!
You rock!
Which application do u use to edit your film
I shoot cars and a polarizing filter really helps
I have been in love with you guys since I bought the 14 day film maker. I enjoyed the step by step process. Great job. I would love to connect with you one on one.

What’s a great Lavalier Mircophone with awesome sound quality for your iPhone?
I’m trying to record my cousins 15 birthday and I don’t wanna have shaky hands lol so the gimbal is probably the most useful product
What do you think about editing on Davinci resolve and the new m2 iPad Pro
Nice video : )
Thanks for the visit!
have you done a video on card storage and footage dump
What are some good accessories for the iPhone 11?
Top notch advice. Thanks you as always! Thoughts on the Zhiyun Crane M3 as a smartphone gimbal to handle a moment lens and a mic?
Haven't got my hands on it yet but it definitely looks awesome, even more "prosumer" than the smooth 5
dji osmo work with nd filter on the phone or lenses? thanks you for the video!
as usual great informative content
Thank you 🙌🏻
Thanks guy's for your helpful 👍

How do i log in .. is there any problem with your website?
Remarkable training especially the 14-day Filmmaker. It teaches us to be intentional, and deliberate with cinematic quality.
Thanks!
You are stuff are too expensive, but I agree, they are cool and VERY good quality, but for people who just start their channel/ project, it would be too expensive now, maybe later. But still thank you for sharing them with us!
2:36 ulanzi lenses are much more affordable and have more flares. Just sayin.
Yes it is 👍
Have you released a budget friendly video of these accessories?
For the lav mic, where did you buy the adapter to plug into your iPhone 13 Pro?
I have a regular lightning to 3.5 adapter and I just tested it with with my Synco S6E mike, and to my surprise it worked fine. It doesn't look like one needs any special kind of adapter.
@ 2:30 my guy really included a shot from a video game called "Warframe" and said it was shot on an anamorphic lense XD LOL
how do you bring the videos you shoot onto your phone to edit on the computer, do i use an external hard drive to transfer the videos to edit? Also im running out of storage i only have 64 gb when i film what do i do.
Use a USB cable to transfer directly from the phone to the computer. No need for a HDD in the middle, but use one to make backups.
Just looking on the Apple store to find daVinci resolve and I cannot find it have they removed it or renamed it please could you help me out with this. Thanks so much.
if you google search davinci resolve download you can find it on blackmagic's main site (they are the creators of the program)
I love editing with Final Cut Pro. I am pretty surprised that you didn't even mention it as an option. Hmmm?
In our program 14 Day Filmmaker we have training series on Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I think Final Cut Pro is good, but in a world where DaVinci Resolve is free, works on all computers, and is more powerful (in my eyes) I don't personally ever recommend Final Cut Pro.
I use final cut pro and it's a great editing program, I think the reason why it wasn't mentioned because of the price point for it. ($299)
What case can attach a lens for s23 ultra
Does the first gimbal have a way to extend it...something like a selfie stick?
The DJI OM5 can extend, yes
@@MrPaulXavier oh okay thank you!
Can the smooth 5 hold level with the moment lens, filter, case AND dji wireless mic?
hi! The 14-day kinda course for smartphones: how would I know if my smartphone is good enough to be able to do the things you mention there? Is there like a minimal requirement of phone type?
If your phone can shoot in 4K it's a start. Slow motion is a plus!
Any suggestions for android video editing apps or software?
I love the content
Thank you :)
You have very neat eyebrows!
LMAO!
Mannn I love your content and it's so helpful though I haven't started yet.. Question. I want to do the 14 day film maker but do I need to have video program's already or it will walk me through everything?
If this a stupid question my bad, I'm new to this trying to become true to this
It will walk you through everything 🔥
What gear did you use to record this video?
Will this work for iPhone 12 Pro?
Do you need a Nomad case to use their lens?
Hey, nice video, using an IphoneXR with moment case and moment lense, will the nd filter fit straight on or will I need an adapter?
Great video but could you do one that is for someone with a limited budget, same accessories just cheaper versions. Thanks.
