There are very vast difference in climate difference between both areas and houses please learn who created the manglore tile history and the architectural design on such . Roofing to materials and different caste hyrarchy in both parts were different and has evolved with different offsets .hence there are some diffences in the house construction and the materials used in such houses

Bro the tile industry was started after which era ?😂 . The problem is the house mechanism and the functionalities were different . prosperity and the evolution of history and how people / sub caste has rights to own land or house were also diff in both regions . Looking st the old temples itself can make you understand the difference of houses and how even brahminical ( top hyrarchy per caste system in southern parts ) had homes or close knit societies . There itself you can see the difference . The particular architecture is kerala model .
