GLAD THAT WE ARE FINALLY GETTING A WRECK IT RALPH RIDE!
While Wreck it Ralph deserves more than just a shooter ride, Tokyo Disney rarely misses when it comes to new rides so I trust they’ll do good
At least its a whole new technology being used so likely not just a new overlay
Since the Oriental Land Company has proven that they can run their parks better than Disney, I don’t think that this will be a major flop and I think that they will pull it off smoothly
@@SlushysSecretdefinitely, I’m jealous of the Disney parks the oriental land company runs because they are amazing. Meanwhile here in the us I’m still waiting for Disney to finally give us the avengers e ticket that they have been promising us for 4+ years now

I Honestly Won't Mind Disney Closing Down Tokyo Disneyland's Buzz Lightyear Attraction because their Tomorrowland is Getting Outdated. Plus, Their New Wreck-it Ralph Attraction has to be Good.
Not to mention entirely new space mountain that we will get
They’re already going to close Tomorrowland to re-do most of it by 2026

Why can’t Tomorrowland get updated at California. That land needs a serious overhaul

Disneyland CA’s Autopia should become the Sugar Rush Races. It’s a refresh and shouldn’t be too difficult to do
Autopia is an historic attraction tho. Maybe at Magic Kingdom? Would reaaaaly appreciate!

Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland Speed Way, Disneylands Tomorrowland has been screwed up too much, and Speed Way needs a serious upgrade
For Disney the most simple of projects are extremely difficult for them 😂
This is great, + a Jungle Cruise with a Jungle Book overlay would be cool. Naysayers would say it ruins the original, but political correctness has already ruined much of the ride and now in a reality where we can see lifelike animatronics or visit real animals the stationary animals on this ride are corny. Replace with Jungle Book!
Wreck It Ralph's IP deserves so much more than a lazy shooting gallery. What about constructing a full-size Litwak Arcade at the park with all the arcade machines intact? What about a big budget Sugar Rush Speedway game for consoles with all the racers and brand new world-inspired tracks like Beard Papa's Bakery, Cereal Box Caynon, and the Engine Block Ranch? So many possibilities wasted...
Agree, Wreck it Ralph deserves a whole theme land, just so many ride and show can be make from it.

I could see it rethemed to Lightyear at some point. I don't like the idea though, as I really like its current Buzz Lightyear of Star Command theme.

I'm all about differentiating the Disney Parks, so I'm happy if Hong Kong has Nano Battle, Disneyland has Astro Blasters, and Tokyo has Sugar Rush. While I suppose it is somewhat inevitable under current leadership for certain ride types to be duplicated, I always appreciate a different theme or skin being applied. For example, California Adventure has Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Hollywood Studios has Alien Swirling Saucers, and Tokyo has Baymax's Happy Ride. 😊
Too bad Disney is going to clone one of California adventures only e tickets by putting radiator springs racers in wdw.
@@dayoldbread1696 Agreed. Especially when Walt Disney World is getting a huge refresh of TestTrack. I was hoping that the Magic Kingdom would get something more magical and original that tied in with the theme of Big Thunder Mountain, like the original concept for Splash Mountain (Western River Expedition), or the Lion King area rumored but not yet greenlit for Paris.
@@kentslocum definitely! I have never been to wdw sadly but I am a Disneyland local so I was kinda disappointed dca is losing their one unique e ticket. I just hope that Disney finally starts construction on the avengers e ticket they have been promising us for 4+ years. And I hope you guys will get good things over there at wdw too!
@@dayoldbread1696 Actually, I'm not a WDW local. I live in Oregon, and was a Disneyland Park Cast Member for two years. I've never been to WDW, but I'm going to visit Florida for the first time when Epic Universe opens. I know that the Disneyland Resort is pretty much a locals park, but Cars Land was what really attracted people from out of state. Maybe if they duplicate Cars Land in Florida, the California parks will be less busy? 🤔 Ah, who am I kidding? Probably won't affect crowds at all. But one can hope!
With regards to the Avengers E-ticket, I'm a bit worried. I'm not a superhero fan in general, so I was displeased that Avengers Campus displaced A Bug's Land. Avengers Campus has hurt some of the sightlines in Cars Land, and I'm especially concerned that Disney might not take appropriate steps to hide the enormous Avengers E-ticket show building from view.
@@kentslocum that’s really awesome! I used to want to work for Disney but I live too far (an hour away) that including traffic would have made it impossible to get to work on time sadly.
And yeah i just wish they made a cars ride from the ground up for wdw. Also maybe it’s just me but it seems like they are just lazily shoehorning it into wdw to draw in crowds easily, since it’s easier than making a brand new ride. But it just doesn’t fit the theme of the land/park they are putting it in.
Also yeah I wish they would have remodeled bugs land instead. I won’t lie though I would have not minded if avengers campus was actually good, but sadly Disney did it cheap and lazy so I miss bugs land. I see what you mean though, Disney doesn’t care much about its sightlines anymore. Weirdly they cared with galaxy’s edge yet for some reason they didn’t care about it with avengers campus and San fransokoyo.
Avengers campus needs that e ticket because web slingers sucks and the Dr strange show is so cheap. It’s been 4 years since they promised us it and two different iterations of the ride but we still need it. Hopefully we hear more about it this upcoming d23! If they cancel it again the land will be doomed to stay terrible

Rip out Tomorrowland Speedway create a Wreck It Ralph attraction right there to compete directly with Mario Kart and it can connect with Tron as a video game type corner in Tomorrowland

Tokyo Disneyland is really taking a brave step by reimagining Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters into a Wreck-It-Ralph ride towards transforming Tomorrowland. But of course Tokyo Disney always pulls it off so I believe they know what they’re doing especially with the new Space Mountain coming in 2027.

Man, why can't we have nice things. I'd love a Wreck It Ralph attraction, but they even canceled the dumb little play area we were supposed to get. Magic Springs looks lovely too, though it will look better after it's had a year or two for the plants to settle in.

I just left disneyland, and cast memebers are now asking for IDs with the magic key discount and / or purchase
They need to replace the Tomorrowland Speedway with a Wreck It Ralph Candy Crush ride. They already have the track, now make it actually fast and competitive.

My issue is that this means Tomorrowland is gonna be down TWO major attractions for at least 2+ years soon. With both Space Mountain and Buzz closing permanently this year.

Something looks different about the lighting and video quality. Improved. Are you using different equipment? If so, keep it up, that looks a lot better than the usual. ( Which already looked good enough. )
We didn’t make changes to the setup, but we did move the broadcast computers and setup to another room. I think Jake may have been able to crank the lights up more than normal. When I host, he usually has to turn the lights down, because I have trouble seeing the teleprompter in bright light. I don’t think he did that yesterday.

Well since this is replacing a ride from the 90s, people shouldn’t have an excuse to whine about this ride “s#%tting on Walt Disney’s grave” like they how they accuse Disney of this whenever Disney World makes ANY changes.
i was hoping they would do a wreck it ralph themed land in the sugar rush game and the main attraction would be a race using that ride system that universal is using for the donkey kong ride

Agree. I loved Wreck it Ralph, but Astro Blasters and Space Ranger Spin are my absolute favorite rides at DL and WDW respectively.

6:48 😦…. 🤮 This is bad I understand the idea behind it of, oh how cute it’s the dog from Up, but now we have someone in a literal fur suit employed in a Disney Park BUT at least it’s a character and the person’s not down on all fours.
Hopefully we never get any closer to g¡mp suites in the park.
Sorry for the seemingly sensationalism I felt I should share the line of logic I ended up thinking after I saw the Doug costume and thought “how much worse could Disney make this in the future?”.

I’d say that it’s exciting to finally get a Wreck-it-Ralph attraction, but considering the atrocious Ant Man ride and Tokyo’s declining standards (thinking particularly of the new hotel and the bastardization of “it’s a small world”) I am rather apprehensive.
Also, that Judy Hopps statue is laughably bad. It looks nothing like the character!

They should have made a Wreck it Ralph ride, be a racing ride...and had it blow the doors off that pathetic, slow moving, out dated, attention deficit disorder Mario Kart "ride"
Then replace Autopia and the Speedway in the Magic Kingdom with it as well. Sorry Autopia is a waste of space and compared to other similar rides around the country it is bland, boring and has terrible vehicles.
