- We're back in Indianapolis for the Indy 800 and Cleetus and Cars! We placed 2nd in the nitrous powered crown vics and had a blast racing folks like Tony Stewart. The Turbo LS Pacer did great in the burnout pit, but ultimately we let a fan blow it up!

I'm always waiting for the day that Derek gets one of the better cars (though I wish in general they were able to keep them all more equal). Pretty sure if he ever gets a car that is at least remotely close to as good as the ones in front of 'em he's going to win it. He's a really good driver.

@@jamesmcknight6812I think there is ZERO chance Derek did not see Red Green as he grew up in SUPER rural North Dakota. We had 4 channels to watch and PBS was the easiest to tune in. I think Derek's humor is just an awesome feature of that culture. Dry and witty!

Derek is without doubt the best Crown Vic driver on the track. If they ever give him a car with horsepower equal to the others, he will rule first place.
His car had a horsepower. I seen it!
Seriously though, the different rear gear in the police interceptors is the major variable between cars, not power. They all make 180ish at the wheels.
So much fun to see Derek do so well in the race! Obviously he loves racing!

I like the pacer, you should build something cool like that for your next burnout car. I never really cared for Charlotte the ex race truck it was too generic and had no style.
FINALLY a feller gets raced fairly clean. Tickled for Zach, he earned it. A feller wheeled that Vic like a boss, just needed a few more ponies.. Stupid happy for you. You did everything you coulda done and got to race some drag racer named Smoke. Hell of a job.
Not gonna lie. Was hoping to hear a lil fellette from TN name when Cleeter was reading off the mom’s race list .. I was ready to call it and say she fixin to lay the smack down.
Towards the end there that 4.8 in Pit Boss was sounding more like a typewriter than a motor.

Burnout competitions have always been around to this fella in Victoria Australia my entire life. I remember going to them in the 90s when I was a child. Glad to see they are taking off in the US! Mostly due to Cleeter coming here a few years back to check out Summernats. Maybe you should come one day ! It gets wild though
