Thats called a rotation error. Flipping horizontally, they should both face the same way. It's a minting error and worth quite a bit. Join a facebook page and upload a video of you rotating it to get a valuation
Aa new comer to coin collecting, I've found my nephew is really into the coins too and so we've both started collecting and sharing our successes.... QUESTION: Do you have a family member (no specific) who enjoys coins
Oh I see. Some banks are funny about it and I've heard some branches of the same banks have different rules. I'd advise you to ask in other banks and if one will do it for you then open an account there
Hi, can i ask how do you store your coins cardboard liners or folders? and can u link where you got from please, i am new to coin collecting and doing it with my daughter.
I have been given a £2.coin in my change The Labours of Hercules date 1999 I have been looking at all the videos by you and other people but I have never heard of this coin is it valuable ???
Hi, I found a 2015 Magna Carta coin in my change recently and you have stated that they are worth slightly more than face value. Would you tell me how much more please?
Hi Iam just if I could get some advice as I see you're good at what u do .. aberration of slavery ..with the letters upside down what's the value off it please ..
What you missing? im sure sombodys got the ones you need just don't say theyre to complete a collection or theyl try charge you a fortune if I find them il give you them for nothing 👌🏻my brothers collection is quite good i bet he's got a couple of good ones and he won't even know.
Bishop Promlin I believe 1971 is a high mintage year for them 1972 is the year your after or 72 73 or 74 in the 2ps as they were not minted for circulation. I may be wrong as I've never hunted then properly have a look on eBay at some of the auctions (buy it now's are unreliable) and see what they are selling for.
The valuable copper coin is 1983 as it’s copper value is more than the coin value and low mintage too. People think that all coins with the new pence on are valuable they aren’t.
You will find that the rarest £2 coin in circulation is the 1989 Tercentenary Scottish CLAIM of Rights coin. Less than 300,000 were minted, slightly less than the Irish Commonwealth coin.
That’s fair, the queen may pass away soon and it’s best to keep them, they will surely be a collectable before 2030, unless the queen lives for an entire century!
Jay Dee what errors do you want to look for? The error I was on about was the inner circle the gap between the inner and outer circle, this came to light more when the new £1 came out. Some of the centre pieces were falling out, the bigger the gap the more valuable the coin. Does that answer your question.
Good luck 🍀 and onwards to 100,000 subscribers.
I've enjoyed watching the finds, bloopers and super coin finds, thank you for putting this together
How lovely, celebrating 50,000 subscribers with such fabulous prizes.. I agree the sovereigns and Britannia coin designs are fabulous.

Hi i have a 2015 Britania coin but when you turn it over from queens head Britania is upside down?

My girlfriend collects the rare 50p and 2 pound coin she's has quite a few now where would she be able to sell them for this kind of money????
It's tricky I used to use eBay but the fees are a bit high I have a section in my discord for selling/trading discord.gg/fUkqZJz

The fact you got like £115 back after buying this £500 worth of £2.. it’s like a mini lottery without spending money!
In a way hahaha but I hoard them rather than sell them 😆
That’s fair, the queen may pass away soon and it’s best to keep them, they will surely be a collectable before 2030, unless the queen lives for an entire century!

Tom Kitten £2? Do you mean 50p?
Are you aware of the error coins you are throwing back to the bank as you say?
Which error coins?
The technology ones there are many errors that make them valuable to coin collectors
If you want to know more I would suggest to PM me as I’ve been collecting a very long time
Fay Bunyan what errors should we look out for?
Jay Dee what errors do you want to look for? The error I was on about was the inner circle the gap between the inner and outer circle, this came to light more when the new £1 came out. Some of the centre pieces were falling out, the bigger the gap the more valuable the coin. Does that answer your question.
