What a shock and sadness to hear Jimmy Buffet passed away. Thank you for all your wonderful music. You will be missed. Well done Jimmy. Keep on playing up there....
Jimmy Buffett is my all time favorite. My Dad played it all the time as I grew up and now it’s a part of me. I will definitely pass it on to my future generations
Here, here.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jimmy Buffet. May he RIP. With sincere regards from Ontario, Canada.
Classless reply@user-a2b-4c7d-9e0f
@user-a2b-4c7d-9e0f It's not all aboutmoney. People who love you, fans, and his talent. Not to mention memories of millions of people. Cruises and tropical vacation destinations will be playing his music for many years to come. Money isn't everything!!!🎹📻💖
@user-a2b-4c7d-9e0fthey won’t have their family member……….. who cares about money??
@user-a2b-4c7d-9e0f That's a shitty thing to say my dude. The family lost their father, husband, etc. The world lost a great great man. The money he was worth is nothing in relation to what he meant to his family, friends and fans. I'm sure his family could have all the money in the world and still wish he was back so they could give him one more hug.
Jimmy Buffett was a kind, caring and thoughtful man towards all of Earth's creatures. His "escapism" music allowed global generations to enjoy his life directly thru his music. I'll miss him, his music, his unwritten books and his band more so than any other entertainer past or future.
That was very well put. My feelings exact I Can't believe hes gone.😢
Why does anyone wonder why this fun loving guy, who made his best music, approaching 50 years' ago, is still soooh popular?
He loves fun, life and giving his fans what they want.
A truly classic performer.
All the parts lead to the reason for his ongoing popularity, mainly in the great ParrotHead large-scale fun events, he's 75 and many would have difficulty doing 2 hour concerts + encores, even if they are more confined to American summers and Mike Utley, Mac & the CRB members are no longer 21.
He was just so down to earth. ❤
RIP Jimmy Buffett Thanks for all of the smiles and all of the songs, in the past, now and in the future.
A legend never dies :)
I come from a family of beach and boat people so we grew up listening to Buffett and some of my best memories include his songs- like my normally reserved Mom singing along to “Jolly Mon” after a few boat drinks. One of my favorites is driving with my nephew when he was like two or three listening to “Fins” and looking back in the rear view mirror to see him singing along to the chorus and doing “fins to left, fins to the right” in his booster seat. He’s well over 6 ft. tall now and graduating high school in a couple of weeks, but sometimes when I look at him I still see that cute little toddler singing his heart out doing “fins.” Thank You Jimmy, for the music and the memories.
Jimmy Buffett wearing pants and shoes? lol , love this man and his music
Very good observation
He never wears shoes suprised he wasn't wearing flip flops. I live in michigan i saw jimmy live twice at dte it was 45 he had no shoes n shorts
Fins up Jimmy. He doesn’t have to rest in peace, he lived and lives in peace 🦜🧂🍔
Hard to believe this was just over a year ago. RIP Jimmy B. - we will miss your wit, music and enthusiasm!
Jimmy Buffet will go on forever. What a great man
Um. He just died. Sorry man
@@mizzkitty2229Legendary Status
Forever. A poet for the ages.
@@mizzkitty2229his music will live on!
Aww Jimmy Buffett looked so proud and happy after they showed the clip of his documentary.
I grew up listening to Jimmy Buffett because of my dad. He was a bit of a hippy when it came to Buffetts music, but I still appreciated his music
I saw Jimmy perform at Ontario Place along the Toronto Waterfront. It was a perfect, sunny, warm, Ontario evening. No better time for a Jimmy Buffett concert. It was awesome. It exceeded my expectations. Two words comes to mind, HAPPY & FUN.
My son spent 4 years of his life playing music in the Jimmy Buffet Rehearsal Room at Dreyfoos (High) School of the Arts in West Palm Beach. Thank you, Jimmy, for donating that awesome room.
Jimmy was a real artist, writer, and singer. One hell of an entertainer. He will be missed.
And another part of my youth is gone. But he left a legacy. All of us from the 70s remember how popular he became. He played music that made you feel good. And nothing like a song of his on a summervday or a tropical vacation. Thanks for the happy memories Jimmy!! You made millions smile and created the parrot head phenomenon. 💖☮️🎹🎸🎼
Love Jimmy Buffet, he is so down to earth and just a cool cat! I am hip to his vibe! Seriously, what a legend!!! I think i was 6 or 7 sneaking downstairs, with the TV set really low, with my ear to the speaker turning and watching, turning and watching. I do believe I watched the orginal show with Jimmy Buffet, (was addicted to Carson at that age) The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and I do believe I saw that performance!!! #ParrotHead🦜
Damn it's hard to believe he is gone, what a life.
Rest Well, Jimmy Buffet.....you were so cool and genuine. "Feel Good" Music for the Ages.
Rest in Peace to one of the Greatest Musicians of All Time!
NEVER TIRE OF JIMMY BUFFETT...LEGEND!! I Love everything he has ever done, but my favorite is "CUBAN CRIME OF PASSION". BEST GUY EVER!!
What a great interview with Jimmy!!!
I miss Jimmy so much!!!
What a loss to Music! 😢 started listening to JB in 1979 and it changed my perspective of life and freedom! ❤
Even though you know its coming it still surprises you. A live well lived. ❤ Jimmy.
The world needed Jimmy Buffett🦜
What a great interview, reminded me of the classic Letterman/Carson format where the guest just takes right over and the audience just sits back and lets them speak
Jimmy & Jimmy..& of course, on 'South Park'.."JI-MMYY"! He does stand up, too 😆
“Margaritaville” a classic for sure. I can take one or not. A margarita that is.
Radio Margaritaville on SiriusXM is my main station in my car!
Mine to most time especially spring to fall
Such a beautiful human being!! He will be missed ❤❤❤
It’s so great to see JB!!
Always a big ol smile which makes everyone else smile 😊

Impossible to find someone who parlayed just being himself into creating so much happiness and a state of mind that we sorely need these days! Barrel roll into the sun, Jimmy and thank you!
Love Jimmy Buffett!! We could not wait for your concert to reschedule. We saw you last year in Noblesville In in July 2021! We have been to over 25 concerts! Yea you kids are Parrotheads! My husband dance at our daughters wedding to little miss magic in June 2021!

Wow, today the Great Jimmy Buffett Went On To The Next Realm... I am almost 60, been crooning to Jimmy, for decades. Sing With The Sentinels Jimmy... See You Again! Love To All from The Great Pacific NW.
RIP, brother Jimmy. Thanks for the music.
I went to the original Margaritaville in Key West, on Margarita Day.
RIP Jimmy Buffett a true legend
Love Mr.B As humbled as they come, god bless this man🙏🏻
New Orleans JazzFest was like his second home. I saw him there back in '02 and it was a great show. Can't wait to go back someday. RIP Jimmy
Absolutely a huge Jimmy Buffett fan have seen him many times Jimmy Buffett forever
I love that Jimmy plays the concerts live on his facebook page!
He is one the last best musicians in his time in the country music industry RIP 😢
Rest In Peace Jimmy Buffett 🙏🏼
Lulu's in Gulf Shores is still one of my fav bars near home, after living all over the place. It's owned by Lucy Buffett (Jimmy's sister), and it always has awesome music and atmosphere.
Lucy is Jimmy's sister. Jane is his wife.
@@pambernhart5364 Thanks for that!
Who plays Jimmy Buffet music at their fathers funeral .. WE DID! Jimmy Buffet was a BIG part of our lives because of my father. I think my grandparents almost passed out at the funeral. It’s just who we are. I have every single CD, I’ve seen him too many times to count, my mother even made JB and my Dad matching shirts! She mailed it off to JB. I will miss seeing him in person, but he will always be in my heart and soul. The legend never dies. RIP JB. Signed Parrotheads for life, Cathy
Ps. I travel to NY 2x year and we stay at Margaritaville Times Square ….. it will never be quit the same 💔
RIP Legend!
So excited to be seeing him at Bethel Woods this summer! Bucket list bringing our kids to see him as a family. Best memory is having our son at 2 1/2 years old belt out “Why don’t we get drunk and screw” in a restaurant. 😂😂. 32 years later he can now sing along with jimmy in concert.
Gonna miss this man. RIP jimmy
Two people I know will always be played on my stereo, no matter how old I get!
Jimmy Buffett & Bruce Springsteen
I remember that first Carson appearance! Loved his rendition of Stars Fell on Alabama.
By far my absolute favorite artists. Parrot Head for life!
Wow, Jimmy Buffett and Florence Welch on the same night!
My heart is in a flurry!
Jimmy is a national treasure and should run for president!!
The whole (seemingly) drunken room are all Parrot Heads! 🤣
One of the most amazing opportunities I had was to sing a few songs with Jimmy a few years ago...Ok, so there were 18,000 other people singing, but it felt like I was singing with Jimmy. He's gone, but I'm still singing...thank you Jimmy!
Wonderful - RIP Jimmy Buffet!
Him and Florence singing together… wow, what a treasure ❤️ I have been a fan of her’s for over a decade and heard his song Margaritaville as a child living in Louisiana. Both of them are LEGENDS. 🔥
RIP to a legend
Still remember tv show Johnny Carson back 1970s. Back my childhood days memories lane.
Thank you for the memories! Rest in Peace Jimmy Buffett ✌️❤️🌼
I tend to forget at times he's Mississippi born so he has the accent. I don't always hear it, but I hear it now. I don't watch TV now-excuse me Jimmy-so I didn't watch this show. But, Jimmy was something else. Oh my heart hurts today. But, Jimmy took his last nap couple days ago, and I hope I'll be honored to meet him someday.
Jimmy had such an incredible presence. He smiles we smile
Is there ANYONE cooler than Jimmy Buffett? I'll wait....
@Mini Manson 🤣
@Mini Manson 😂
My dad used to sing come Monday and we, as children, didn't realize it was Jimmy singing. Years later I learned it was him. Love this song ❤
Jimmy Buffett still by far the best . I have seen him many times I know several of his band and never meant him yet maybe one day.
RIP Jimmy you will be missed.
What an incredible talent. I love you Jimmy!! Play on...tou were the best!!😊
Growing up in South Florida in the 1960's his music was our Floriday's . His music brings joy, smiles and laughs and relaxation and when you think Florida was bad is bad, he gave you the sunny side up view . Thanks Jimmy .
RIP Jimmy - you helped a country boy fall in love with sailing, the ocean and islands. 🤠💔⛵️🏝️🍹
Dang. Jimmy Buffett looks great for being 75 👍🎵
Jimmy Buffett was a marketing genius . He basically took one song and turned it into a Billion Dollar Empire !
Along with a lot of hard work and good business decisions.
He had many songs. Many that I feel in my heart. Don't be so limited. The more I see your post here the more I think you don't know what you are talking about. You obviously have never sailed the open waters, OR really listened to his music.
He had other great songs, yes, but one song built a multi- Billion Dollar empire. Absolutely incredible ! Never happen before and will never happen again !@@lorenostema947
That's what I said !@@JewandGreek
That was probably his biggest hit, but he was not a one hit wonder by any means. Saw him in NYC back in the 80's, I was expecting a guy with a acoustic guitar and the coral reefers, who was there, but played electric guitar all night, more of a rock show, it was in the cheeseburger in paradise days. Good show anyway
I went to the margaritaville in Nassau Bahamas 🤌🤌🤌
Rest in peace Jimmy. I know you are with the your grandfather with one hand on Starboard rail. Thank you for being the soundtrack of my life! Fins up 4 ever!
A void that will be... many times imitated but never filled or duplicated. The original!! JB RIP!
LOVE YA JIMMYS!!
I love you Jimmy
Love Jimmy ! Saw him a few months ago and many times before a legend !
Love me some Jimmy Buffett.
I love you Jimmy
you get no bitches dawg
He has a CD live @ Fenway Park, Boston.🎹🥁🎸🎼
RIP to a legend.
The old pic of Jimmy Buffett at 0:51 actually reminds me of Magnum PI.
Excellent
Me and my dad would drive around in his 69 Dodge and search for Margaritaville on the radio until we found it!!!
Jimmy Buffett, 76, has passed away, just released, died Friday night September 1. 2023, with wife Jane and his three children, Savannah, Sarah, and Cameron. by his side.
News of the star’s death was announced by his family on social media just months after he was forced to pull the plug on his shows following a series of hospitalizations.
“Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs,” the tropical rocker’s loved ones said in a statement on Instagram.
“He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”
I met Jimmy several years ago when he was landing his plane near Annapolis, Maryland to entertain the Naval Academy graduating class. When he got out of the plane he shook my hand and started talking to me like he had known me for years. He died 3 days ago. He was an incredibly nice guy.
My first concert was Jimmy Buffett in Omaha in 1985 after an Omaha Royals game. ♥️
Bravo jimmy!
Get well soon Jimmy Buffett. September 29, 2022 Jimmy is off tour and resting. 😢
I need to go back to a Buffett concert! It's been too long.
