The right lane is traditionally the “slow” lane. You don’t generally expect fast-moving vehicles to be passing in the slow lane. 2. The right side of most vehicles have less visibility from the driver’s seat than the left side. 3. The mirrors on the right are further away from the driver and harder to see/distorted (“objects may be closer than they appear”) 4. Vehicles generally *have* to merge right to get off the highway. Traveling at high speed in these lanes in congested traffic is begging for an accident. Beyond that, it’s considered “rude” by most folks to get passed on the right. I try to avoid it for all of the above reasons.

You're absolutely correct, roundabouts with multiple lanes always seem to make people forget that you have to give way to people going straight when changing lanes, and that you cant just cut across multiple lanes to exit the roundabout while cutting everyone off.
The guy at 10:06 is the most accurate I’ve seen on this channel. This happens constantly to me in a big white pickup truck. Sometimes it’s absolutely their fault but sometimes they just don’t see you. Either because you’re going to fast or moving over when you weren’t there etc. It’s not always a one way fault road.

3:15 I'm pretty sure DoomYZF should have been in the outside lane if he wanted to make that turn into a single lane on the left. The inside lane is for exiting the roundabout when there's a second lane for you to turn into (see the red car at the start of the video).
Both lanes exited the roundabout to the left but inside lane has option to go further around to another exit. Outside lane allows incoming cars a lane to merge into when entering the roundabout.

So many of these the bikers are merely inconvenienced because a car had the audacity to use a blinker and get in front of them. Newsflash, it would not seem to you that the vehicle was cutting in front of you if you were not speeding.

There's about 600 million motorbikes in the world TH-cam has 2.6 billion users and only 51 million channels are active. That's just a tiny 2%. I was maintaining a safe following distance and then instead of waiting to be brake checked by an impatient and inconsiderate driver I just went around them.
