Thank you! Yes, after a closer look I believe it is water color too. And thank you for the info on bird. I couldn’t figure out exactly what kind it was.
Hi Julie. The wooden thingy you thought was for taking boots off is actually a small book shelf. You can sit it on a table or desk, and since the shelf is at an angle the books all stay in place. Prob vintage or antique. One would work well into one of your lovely vignettes.
You taught your girls well. They have a knack for decor too! I love the idea of thrifting some ornaments for gifts! It’s such a great idea for the babies. Even family and friends would love that! Aladdin started producing lunch boxes in the 40's and 50's...many of the old lunch box character ones too. Very popular brand. The thermos's came later. Great choice. Love that painting with the baskets.

The pottery dish Kelsey got is a bean pot. It should have came with a burner. It makes the best lima beans. Great save it's vintage. Thanks for sharing about tea cups in your canister. I had a vintaged small clear cup with the cutest handle and it got a chip on it and I was about to toss it and I got to repurpose it. Thanks for all you do.

I use stainless for cooking, always have. The Alladin thermos is a great, vintage brand. I used those many moons ago. I would pour boiling water in it, and put the cap on and let it sit awhile so my soup, coffee, or hot cocoa would stay nice & hot. Sure brought back memories seeing that thermos. As far as roller coasters go, I loved them when I was younger, but I wouldn't ride one now. I think it would scare me to death. lol!!!!! Growing up, we would head over to the Santa Cruz boardwalk in California, not far from where I grew up. Rode the roller coaster all the time. Suck wonderful memories. Thank you, Julie! Years ago when my husband smoked, he smoked Camel cig. Each pack came with a paper coupon and you could save them and use them to buy stuff out of a cataloged they sent you. That looks like the Camel emblem. Also I've used Alladin for years. Very good product. I love the way you style your stuff and how you show in your videos right away what you do with something you've purchased.

Hi Julie! What a great shopping trip you had. I say 'No' to roller coasters, I'm terrified of heights. I really liked the blue egg and the wooden bowls, the blue Chistmas balls, the painting, the blue and rust pillows. The Nutcrackers were really cute and I would have gotten them and hung them on the stockings. Have a great week and pet Piper for me!

My father in law was part of ACE, a rollercoaster club. We went to Six Flags over Texas and a couple other meetups with him.
