Love how you walk us through your reset of the decorations in your home. Much thought and balancing of your little pretties make for a cozy and very comfy home. Makes you want a cup of something warm seem quite natural while we watch and listen to your videos. Looking forward to your next one!
Julie, I just wanted to let you know even though our decorating styles are different I appreciate and love your videos!! Everything always looks so beautifully curated and of course, I also love your thrifting videos too!
Julie, everything looks so refreshed and a great wintery break. I think the breadbox would be beautiful black but you know best for your decor and home. Have a great week. 💜💜💜
Yes, paint that breadbox black. Then do your distressing like you did that little box/cabinet. It will all match better. Once you paint thoes bar stools it will look super. Do what you do best. Everything looks nice and cozy I really like it. Love bringing the outside in doors. I also have the pinecones around and twigs in a bottle from my backyard. Kept out my woodland animals. Says winter, but not Christmas. It will probably stay to March. With a few Valentines 💝 decor in Feb. Love ❤️ your styling very much.❤❤❤
Yes! I’d love to see a video like that! I know what you mean..a “room divider “the counter is . Love watching you decorate the kitchen! How cozy ! Yes! Paint the breadbox black! I’m loving the green and black combo in the kitchen…it’s prim. Looking. Love the crock Kelsey and Josh gave you !! ❤
Your creamer is made by the Homer Laughlin China company in the Nautilus shape. The backstamp tells you it was made in Sep 1948 (J 48) at the Newell (N) West Virginia potteries, plant #8. Simple but beautiful. I love to collect old dishware!
Hi Julie! Advice on the plants is just to water them as usual because if you do anything drastic it could stress them. Wait to repot them in spring with fresh potting mix and that should be enough. In the future the best fertilizer is fish emulsion and yes it stinks but they love it. I love your decor.
Love the decor and how you place the items!!! Yes I think the bread box would look good painted black! I have used some of your ideals and I love it!! Have a great week❤
My dishwasher flooded my kitchen on Thanksgiving day. I was still cooking by myself for 13 family members. It was also my 73rd birthday. November 28, 1951. I was recovering from bronchitis and got overwhelmed with the flooded kitchen and walk-in pantry. My daughters helped out. So yes, appliances will break down on holidays. Julie, i love your simple transfer in your kitchen for winter. I'm so happy to see your videos. XOXOXO
I love the counter tops all decorated. I love the box with drawers. The breadboard I think would look good painted black..it would anchor it down. Loved the video, Julie, as always. TFS ❤😊
I'M JUST NOW TAKEING DOWN MY TREE , I ONLY PUT UP 1 TREE THIS YR AND IT WAS A PENCIL TREE I PICK UP AT A YARD SALE IT WAS A BLESSING FOR ME THIS YR. HARDLY ANYTHING WENT UP THIS YR BUT I WAS HAPPY WITH WHAT I HAD UP. WHAT PUPPY TORE MY ROTORY CUP AND IT'S JUST BEEN SO PAINFUL. I WAS JUST SO GREATFUL FOR THE PENCIL TREE
It looks great and yes, paint the bread box. I no longer care what other people think of how I decorate, I love my look and that’s all that matters to me.
Hi Julie, love the counter and bar but yes paint breadbox black and leave everything else the way it is! You might want to add cutting board, plate or something else to hide outlet behind breadbox!😍
Hi Julie, doing the same here, trying to get my kitchen back to normal after the holidays :)) still a mess! It has become our Christmas tradition that a day before Christmas our fridge stops working ... with all the food in it! We discovered that although it is " self- defrosting" fridge-freezer is does want to be defrosted once a year. Ha ha. Imagine me with all the extra food that is thawing and needs to be quickly cooked or stored in a cold ( our winters in England are normally mild , too warm to keep food on the porch too long ) , and all the neighbours' fridges are obviously also full due to the holidays.. Ufff. This year, fingers crossed , it hasn' t happened . Yet😂
I think it looks great! You may enjoy some under cabinet battery operated lights. You may not have power outages like we have, but they are a life saver. It is rough when you’re in pitch black trying to find a flash light or match for a lantern. I’ve stumped my toes and bumped into things more than I care to admit. Now, it’s pretty simply to have lights. I got mine on Amazon. The batteries really last too on my puck lights. I started getting rechargeable batteries. Let me tell ya, that’s the way to go. I have battery operated light on a timer on top of my cabinets. Those last a little less than a week. But, I have extra rechargeable batteries and just switch them out. We could hard wire some in, but I’m good with what we have. In fact, I prefer having some of my lights being battery operated encase of power outage. My son told me mom you love lights. True words.
I think there is something special for snake plants, but I just use Miracle Grow for all my plants & they love it. Just once a month is all you need for them. Love you & your channel. Love how you thrift & style your thrift. I personally feel you have too, too much in your home, but you style it so well that it works. I couldn't do it. I would have it looking so junked up & cluttered, but you do it well. Keep on thrifting & styling & sharing with us. Love it & you. 🥰 ( My name is Margie. This is under my hubby's name because of the email. )
I love your decorations! The bread box would look good black! But first see if you could strip or tone it down! Look back at your video the tan woods look great! I think that would balance it out and give you more tones!
Agree 100%. Different wood tones add warmth and visual interest to spaces. I would strip and sand that breadboard before I painted it black. It might look really great in a lighter tone.
@@kathygreer2097 me too. She just has such a good eye for putting things together. And our Goodwills in my area are junk. I guess I could try driving an hour away to one.
Your circle of wood is a pizza server. Years ago we lived in Sacramento and our favorite pizza place brought our pizza to our table on a wooden plate exactly like that. This was in the early 1970s. I haven't seen one since then. I would love to have another one of those pizzas.
Julie I love the Alaska fish fertilizer. It will bring some plants back from the dead! I get mine at Lowe’s or Walmart. It’s stinky, only for a few minutes, but works great.
I have a wooden breadbox also and i'd like to paint it black and distress like your other little box with the drawers. I think it's a good idea for your kitchen for sure. What kind of paint did you use?
If you didn’t want to paint the bread box , maybe you could stencil a primitive design on the front and lid of the bread box leaving the wood? I think everything looks pretty on your counter.
We had a series of unfortunate events (termites, broken dryer, slab leak)coupled with two rooms in my house being repainted and carpet put in. I still keep some Christmas decor up ( the nativity) but y' all I am ready for this chaos to end.!.
Hi Julie! I love the way you styled the kitchen. Btw what died on me was a doozy. It was the transmission in our car that died just after Thanksgiving. And wouldn't you know we're a one car family. It's still in the shop. Y'all have a great day ❤
I love the colors in your countertop! Is it dark brown or black in it? Personally, my ocd would say to stick with only the cream and dark brown color decor with splashes of greenery. Maybe dark brown crocks or bowls. I love to thrift at goodwill too, but getting a bit pricey there!
I like your bread box but instead of a solid black could you use like a black wax to tone it down without a full change? I really don't know much about that. I think it would look nice with your table. I enjoy your narrative, it's like having s friend over. 👍💕
I'm a new subscriber. You have a little bit of a country accent like me; where are you from? I can't wait to watch more of your videos. BTW, I'm from Southeast Georgia.
It’s weird that your counter tops do not line up or level….seems like a bad design….lots of places for food to hide. Also I would remove the stickers and wash the pieces thrifted especially being used on your counters near food!!
We love listening to Julie go through her thought process as she's deciding what will go where. She has such a calming voice. I enjoy her videos so much. She could just sit there in the kitchen and speak and I would be all in just to watch and listen!

I agree! 👍👍🥰
Bless Your Heart, Julie!
It's ALWAYS SOMETHING, isn't it?!
I'm sorry...
You always handle Life with SUCH GRACE!!
You are one SWEET LADY/FRIEND!!! ❤
I love your kitchen!! I wish I had that much counter space. I love how everything ties in together. So homey and inviting.
Me too! It’s hard to decorate my counters when I have to keep so many everyday things on them.
I do think the bread box would look great painted black😊
Yes! I’d love to see a video like that!
I know what you mean..a “room divider “the counter is .
Love watching you decorate the kitchen! How cozy !
Yes! Paint the breadbox black! I’m loving the green and black combo in the kitchen…it’s prim. Looking.

❤ you are such an inspiration, thank you for sharing your refresh...looks great!!
I think the bread box will look good black. Your kitchen looks nice.
Love how you decorated the kitchen. Love all of your videos.
I’m always amazed at how good you make everything look❤ I agree with painting the bread box black as well!
Hi Julie! Advice on the plants is just to water them as usual because if you do anything drastic it could stress them. Wait to repot them in spring with fresh potting mix and that should be enough. Spot on 😊
Love the decor and how you place the items!!! Yes I think the bread box would look good painted black! I have used some of your ideals and I love it!! Have a great week❤
😊Very pretty, Im very limited on counter space 😢and cannot really decorate with my beautiful items. Lov to see your beautiful home decorating 😊
Yep, I can relate…
My dishwasher flooded my kitchen on Thanksgiving day. I was still cooking by myself for 13 family members. It was also my 73rd birthday. November 28, 1951. Julie, i love your simple transfer in your kitchen for winter. I'm so happy to see your videos. XOXOXO
I think the breadbox will look good black since you don't have any other wood that color in there and it will also match your chairs.
The reset in your kitchen thus far looks beautiful.❤
I love the counter tops all decorated. I love the box with drawers. The breadboard I think would look good painted black..it would anchor it down. Loved the video, Julie, as always. TFS ❤😊
Looks great. So cozy,,
🤎🤍 beautiful kitchen💫✨️ I love all of your content & am happy to watch anything you share with us 🤗
Love your kitchen I think the bread box would look good painted black
That looks adorable and very warm and inviting.
The struggle is real putting up all the Christmas decor and switching to a neutral winter look. Great job!
Kitchen looks pretty. I think the bread box would be pretty black .❤
Your kitchen is very warm, cozy, and inviting! 🥰

Yes I would paint the bread box. Distress it to match the other 2 boxes
It looks great and yes, paint the bread box. I no longer care what other people think of how I decorate, I love my look and that’s all that matters to me.
I just painted my bread box black and it looks awsome.
I love the primitive/country look.
I think yours will look great black.
Hi yes I would paint the bread box and and I would paint the cabinets black also it will bring your eye moving around better.... from Ohio
My MIL’s oven went out on Thanksgiving day with a houseful of people. Your kitchen decor looks great!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has to do a deep clean after Christmas. So far Ive done the kitchen and living room. Loved the video as always.
Julie, it looks adorable. Love the chicken wire basket. I love the bread box in its original stain. ❄️
Hi Julie, love the counter and bar but yes paint breadbox black and leave everything else the way it is! You might want to add cutting board, plate or something else to hide outlet behind breadbox!😍
Loved this video!❤😊
Looks so very nice! Bread box black will look nice.

Looks great. I agree on the bread box being black.
Awesome your home always looks so put together ❤️ ❤
Love that cozy corner light❤
Leave it brown I love what you've done in the kitchen it looks very nice 😊✌️🙏
Love what you did on the counter, the bread box looks good the wood but you do what you like best❤❤
I love the color of your granite counter tops and the two colors on your cabinets.
Kitchen looks really nice. Yes i would paint the breadbox black. Well Julie my Oven went out a couple days before Christmas. 😫
I love the way you redecorated the counter and I would paint the box black .
I love your videos ❤
I would change the breadbox vs the little black drawer-thing and see how it looks.
Yes, the bread box painted black! Also what about placing it kitty corner with the candlelight behind it?
I love. The. Bread box. It all looks. Good
Oh Julie I love that color tan on you, and with your gold jewelry. You look dewy and glowy. ❤
I think the plant is called lambs ear. Love what you've done.

I think the chairs and breadboard will look great in black. Love, Marcie from Oregon
I agree about painting breadbox black 😊
Ok, ngl, the pine cones in the kettle was SO STINKIN CUTE!! Totally not my style *at all.* But my goodness! Cute is cute!
I would love to see a video about what you want to improve this year and some goals you are setting. Enjoyed the video.
Hello Julie, family, and fur babies. Nice Kitchen STTB
Nice kitchen ❤
You can buy fertilizer sticks or mix some Miracle Grow to put in them
The wood you have on your center piece on the bar is a top for a crock if I'm not mistaken
Looks great! I would paint the bread box black. 😊
I love your style. Stay warm and safe because we here in East Texas are fixing to get slammed with a winter storm. ❤
Hi Julie, Marley here. Yep, black it is. It will look fine. As per usual everything looks spot on. 👍🏼
Oh -forgot to add,
One year my oven”went out” a few days before thanksgiving - and I was hosting!
I think you should paint the bread box whatever you want because it’s your kitchen and the black. I think it would look nice.
You must live in the South. If I put my plants outside for Christmas I wouldn’t have any left! The struggle is real to find places to put them.
@@kathygreer2097 me too. She just has such a good eye for putting things together. And our Goodwills in my area are junk. I guess I could try driving an hour away to one.

I've seen that in pizza places all over. At home, I just leave it on the pan. Less to clean haha
I like it Julie..!!
Do you feed your plants Miracle Grow? That's really good.
Counters look great with after holiday decorating. Bread box is great. Sharon in Texas
My grandson does not understand why anyone buys pine cones, they are outside. I bought some and he had hissy fit.
From Florida
Julie I love the Alaska fish fertilizer. It will bring some plants back from the dead! I get mine at Lowe’s or Walmart. It’s stinky, only for a few minutes, but works great.

I agree, the bread box would look better painted.
May want to try black contact paper on the bread box to see how you like the look before painting it
If you didn’t want to paint the bread box , maybe you could stencil a primitive design on the front and lid of the bread box leaving the wood? I think everything looks pretty on your counter.
Yes My oven went out. Christmas day.
Hi Julie if it matters I really love love ur breadbox this brown original color…….
We had a series of unfortunate events (termites, broken dryer, slab leak)coupled with two rooms in my house being repainted and carpet put in. I still keep some Christmas decor up ( the nativity) but y' all I am ready for this chaos to end.!.
Looks so fresh and clean! Have you tried museum wax to hold things in place? (Like your silver tray.)
Julie did you know you can stand your bread box up and it will pull open from the top down then you have a shelf on the top to s😮et decore on
Hi Julie! I love the way you styled the kitchen. Btw what died on me was a doozy. It was the transmission in our car that died just after Thanksgiving. And wouldn't you know we're a one car family. It's still in the shop. Y'all have a great day ❤

I think if you paint the breadbox, you could start by painting all except the lid (also paint the knob) and see what you think…….
I agree. Paint the bread box black. It doesn't go with your kitchen.
I think angle the chicken and heart pot into the corner by the lamp! It all runs too much along that wall. Otherwise love it!
Don’t paint the breadbox. It pulls your copper pans into the decor.
Miracle grow once a month
I'm a new subscriber. You have a little bit of a country accent like me; where are you from? I can't wait to watch more of your videos. BTW, I'm from Southeast Georgia.
I'd paint the bread box, you don't necessarily have to paint it black.
I'd paint it, but not black
I'd try to paint it green within the same color hue as her cabinets. Just my thoughts.
It’s weird that your counter tops do not line up or level….seems like a bad design….lots of places for food to hide. Also I would remove the stickers and wash the pieces thrifted especially being used on your counters near food!!

Amazing video 😍
Do you need eye catching thumbnail??
What about just painting the lid on the breadbox black
Yes breadbox needs to be black
