Dude!, tight work! This video rips. Excellent info! I already got white, & black &blue… now I’m getting that green pumpkin for sure! The orange/red knowledge drop. 🤯
Not a bass fisherman but I must agree with you because these color schemes really work with any game fish, I also love white with chartreuse laminate trailers just to give it a little bit of color, if everyone is throwing white yours will stand out a bit more.
Thanx Tyler. Man you got me in trouble, my wife heard you say I only needed 3 chatterbaits (kidding). Clearwater shad chatterbait, you would think they would get tired of seeing it. Just a twist on your colors instead of black and blue try the dark pumpkin blue.
Doesn't have to get a shad lake or water way for white to work. Any place crappie are it will also work. Greenpumkin variations also with make a difference like gp chartreuse or a gp bluegill skirt. I do agree match or close to match the jig color with your trailer. I don't have a ton of luck with red any time of the year but do keep a couple around to fall on when nothing else is working.
You need to consider the tannic waters of NE Carolina as they are mostly tannic. Especially if you fish the Elite in April on the Pasquatank River and others adjacent, to include North River, Perquimans, Little River, Northwest River
I trim the skirts more in the spring summer and fall when it want it searching more i leave the skirt long in the winter time so it’s more subtle. You can trim a little if it impedes on the action with the trailer. If it don’t leave it full. Also in the warm months I’ll trim the inside skirt off

Thank you good information I was getting very confused over colors
I caught my PB large mouth on a fire craw chatterbait last year. Fell in love with the chatterbait after that 😅. Thanks for another one Tyler.
Going tomorrow. Will definitely get a green pumpkin chatterbait going!
Great work TB .. keep it rolling
I have also been using the Green Pumpkin/Black and Blue and it works really good too

Hey Tyler,
Down south we call tannic colored water Root-beer colored water.
You need to consider the tannic waters of NE Carolina as they are mostly tannic. Especially if you fish the Elite in April on the Pasquatank River and others adjacent, to include North River, Perquimans, Little River, Northwest River
What gear ratio do you recommend for most of your chatterbait fishing?
Another good video!!!

Does color of blades make a difference?
In murky water, I let it sparkle. In clear water, I black out the blade with a sharpy.
Those three colors should just be called the primary colors of bass fishing.
Do you trim the skirts on your chatterbaits to the hook length at all?

White, black blue, green pumpkin, red, bluegill, and PINK and white
What is that trailer grub that is rigged on thumbnail?
You mentioned putting hooks on a shoe? Could you be more specific on the type or brand of shoe? LOL
Great video as always
Merry Christmas Eveyone
The lake I fish at, I’ve never caught anything on a chatter bait. And the fish is not pressured at all
I caught my very first bass on a blk/blu chatter bait with a craw trailer, memories....
Blue......fish see it as white.
but Tyler, they come in pink now and I want one....
