Just received mine today (under £40 from Jadlam Racing including postage) - an excellent model. A little small for the price but it does fill the scale between the old Matchbox model and the Product Enterprise Stingray.....
Hey - mine was cheaper but not to worry. I must admit I like it. I'm about to do a comparison with 4 different Stingray models. Remember to subscribe and hit the bell icon. Also I found this online (it's free I believe) app.box.com/s/dsxuais9rrhlf6rws0f40impl8xui4zv
'A faithful representation' is pushing it! ...squared off torpedo tubes? ..and just like the Product Enterprise version (which it is lazily copied from), the form is just all wrong and it looks like it crashed into a closed ocean door on it's return to Marineville, with it short bulbous nose. Great to see a new Stingray release, but a missed opportunity.

Sorry, but it is definitely *NOT* a "faithful" representation of our beloved Stingray. The squared-off missile-tubes are the elephant in the room of ugliness, to say nothing of the failure to "faithfully" get the basic shape right. I was _so_ looking forward to this when it was announced, but now I am bitterly disappointed. Corgi have "done a Dinky" and missed the boat completely!
Your basically paying for a licence fee for a copy right product like Hasbro with Star Wars. The difference is one can keep prices fairly reasonable as they could shift potential millions of units compared to a smaller company that will shift a few hundred. Even though if corgi sold hundreds of thousands, it'll still be 40 quid. Got to think about those poor share holder's that have sacrificed so much at the end of the year.

I agree. I was looking forward too it from Anderson store and it is a big disappointment. The shape is just wrong.
£40 !!!!!!! Seriously?
I know - everything costs a lot these days - I'm waiting for mine to arrive to see whether it is worth the money!
