    I have this same setup and love it, few recommendations that I learned along the way with this setup, if you plug a usb/Ethernet adapter into your tv usb port you can hard wire your Ethernet and it goes above the maximum 100mbps limit on the Ethernet port. - my internet is 300mbps. Also if you want a cleaner set up you can flush mount the tv at just the right height to not be in the way of the Sonos arc and then place the arc under the tv to hide cables. Also get Sonos one SLs for rears it makes a huge different for your movie experiences with the surround sound.

      Thanks for watching Cody! Thanks for the info those are great suggestions! I plan on making some of those changes like mounting and possibly the rears in the future but was waiting until we do the kitchen renovation since it’s right opposite this and I think I’d have to mount one SLs high on the wall behind which means wiring in some power up there. Nice hack with the usb to Ethernet too!

      @@LovingTechLife no problem! For the rears you want them about seated head height and off to the sides at 45 degrees pointed towards your viewing spot if possible. I used two book shelves at opposite sides around the 40” height and hid the cords behind the units. You do need to plug them in so you may need to get creative. I used a white conduit at the top of my baseboard to hide the one cord. And also for the mount any cheap one works fine from Amazon just check the reviews.

    I'm renovating my house and it's old so this is giving some good ideas for set-up. I'm looking at wall mounting the TV to be able to really swing out but I haven't totally resolved the sound system placement. I'll keep you updated. Also going for a minimalist approach.

    • @LovingTechLife

    Sharing the knowledge as always David - great video. Love the set up but it's a bit too tidy for me. I like the raw look of a cable here and there. Where do I plug in my NES ? 😉

    I have a question: Google play music store changed from purchase and play to subscription only few years back. Thus, I have a truck load of music that was taken out sitting as mp3. Is there a way I can set it up in a common drive to play on sonos in different rooms?

    • @LovingTechLife
      @LovingTechLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can actually from memory there’s an option on the Sonos App to add your own media sources like a PC on the network with all the music files on a hdd. Message me on Instagram or Twitter and I’ll send you a screen shot of the page on the app when I’m at home in the network.
      It was either the Sonos app or Alexa or LG TV os that I say it 😅

    Thanks for the info. I’m looking for something like this. Has the ikea shelf held up fine with the weight of the TV? Not sure if the shelf core is solid or what it’s made of? I have LG OLED 77 inch but it seems like this shelf would also work with it being just big enough. Thanks!

    • @LovingTechLife
      @LovingTechLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey JB! I’ve had the tv in this IKEA unit for a couple of years with no issues. I imagine it made from mdf. The unit is really two halves side by side and between that and the weight distribution of the tv base and shelf underneath the structure holds without any issues with the unit. Hope this helps!

    What's the width of the room you're in? I'm worried a 65 inch will be too big

    • @LovingTechLife
      @LovingTechLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cabinet in the video is 2.4m/ 7.78ft and my sitting position is about 2.5m / 8ft from the tv to my head. The room is wider on the left side of the tv by another 2.5 meters but we have a dining table there. I guess you could say the width we allow for the tv area is close to 3m/ 9.84ft because that’s how wide the floor mat is. Does that help?

      Hey Giacinto! Yes I do have a Pulse 3D and it was all I used with the PS5 for a while. Particularly at the time of making this video since it was mainly at my desk setup where I didn’t have any speakers for it. I like the pulse 3D, surprised by the sound you get for the money and it really comes into its own with the 3D tempest sound engine supported games. The Rig 800 is still that much more comfortable though as it should be for the money!
