- In its second year, Vogue World will open London Fashion Week with a one-night-only show at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, one of the most beloved theatres in the heart of Covent Garden. Join us on Thursday, September 14th for a multi-act celebration of the British performing arts-with appearances from opera singers and supermodels, fashion designers and ballerinas-creatively overseen by BAFTA- and Olivier-winning director Stephen Daldry and led by Vogue. Featured guests include Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Sophie Okonedo, Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller and opera singer Hongni Wu, as well as Adwoa Aboah, Vittoria Ceretti, Paloma Elsesser, Ashley Graham, a performance from Stormzy, and more surprises.

Thank you for giving the models their flowers literally! Linda Christy Naomi Cindy all looked wonderful and I appreciated it. Also Annie Lennox wore it out! They did not elevate the fashion industry the industry ie Versace elevated them and when he did fashion became finacially beyond the reach of most people. And to 'save fashion's future' depends on a lot more than the models.

What was the point of this and what did it aim to achieve? The Met Gala I can understand because a lot of very rich socialites charitably support the Met for the cachet, but this was relevant to whom?...the celebs and the luvvies, the fashion cognescenti and Anna Wintours career?
I think this was supposed to be the new met or something. Whole show was so cringe. Actually puts me off print Vogue now.

How was it meant to promote the arts when the audience were people who support the arts anyway? With Anna back in charge and Edward gone print Vogue won't be worth much anyway.
@@annishilcock4587 it was would have been better if they had raised money towards the arts to fund working class youth (or similar) and had an actual theme. This was all over the place. Just a show of endless self promotion for celebrities.

seems there's nothing wrong with the doors. Both doors opened up fully and slided to the same width to the small platform edges of the choirs at two sides. Guess four of them stood in the wrong position behind the doors. You see there is plenty of space between Linda and the door.

Accident happens always during runway or live show, but the most precious thing is how Cindy realises n reacts quick which shows her her love n support to her fellows n shows to the Gen Z why she is super as she can handle any unexpected situation calm n perfect

Hmm... it felt more like a celebration of THE PAST and not a tribute to the history of London's fashion and culture. VOGUE was always about looking forward, I feel like this time it failed us. Although conceptually strong, the execution was poor and sloppy. Recording and directing cameras didn't help either.
I would have liked them to repeat the executive quality of the first one in NYC. A shame. My favorite moment: Galliano, accompanying Kate Moss and that moment behind the scenes.
*The only way to 'top' this, would be to have "Eddie and Pats" (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) come out on stage - in character!*
