so amazing that the authorities said she can no longer be involved in any charity because she funnelled money into her bank accounts. what an amazing woman, thieving from children. golden
I'm Indonesian, with tan skin, where fair skin has always the standards of beauty. I remember when Naomi became the world icon, my parents said "See, girls with darker skin can be beautiful too. And successful."
I don't think people realise how talented Naomi is, she obviously is an incredible beauty but to REMAIN relevant and working for over 30 years in the fashion industry against girls half her age in a time of social media models is no easy feat. Although she's admitted she's no angel to be able to befriend and be respected by the likes of Nelson Mandela, Princess Diana, Azzedine Alaia etc is a testimony to her character. She deserves all the flowers in the world. 💕
Naomi is talented? at pulling the wool over people’s eyes maybe … do u know about all the horrible things she’s done to people, throwing phones at her own staff, don’t get me started on it. she needs an extra hand to count the amount of people that she’s assaulted with her fingers since 1990. You can even see her true colours in ‘the face’. Literally proving things she did say to tyra that she sworn had never spoken like she will never be on her level… bffr I get she is put in iconic outfits but it still shows thru all the material designers put on her that she is the most opposite to talented. Sis every baby from the age of 1 learns to walk so why is it labelled as talent when she has had like 17 years practice walking to being the ‘it-girl of the 90s’
I believe ppl do know who Naomi is and what she done. That is why she still in The fashion business today. Stop saying: people don’t know…. , you are talking about a legendary supermodel , not newcomer. We know
I was at Starbucks in Tokyo and she was behind me. A statue, amazing skin and totally packed with diamonds bracelets and rings. Stunning. When you meet/see a super model (saw some of the 90/2000 super model ones, female and male) you really question if you and them are really part of the same human race for how stunning they are!
I love the fact that she do not expose her daughter! That shows she want her daughter to be safe and protected and to develop her own identity :) Very good mother!
Naomi is often referred to as the Queen of the Catwalk. Naomi is way more than that- she’s the greatest supermodel ever lived. She shines in ALL aspects of modeling to this day in a 40 year career. She has been a great influence and inspiration to millions of people in and out of the fashion industry. And despite people trying to tear her down out of pure spite and jealousy, she keeps going and thriving. Congrats Naomi, we love you, your people will ALWAYS love you my sister🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 🇯🇲
One Thing I noticed MAKEUP FOR DARK SKIN IS IMPROVED A LOT YOU CAN HOW FROM THE BEGINNING HER Face LOOKS WHITISH COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SKIN TONE AND Now Days it MATURED
@@CoolBeans193- there must literally be hundreds of foundation shades for black women by now, especially since Rihanna paved the way. I even saw that a Korean company has extended its' shade range recently.
@@djlivvy46I wish you were right but unfortunately you aren’t many brands still aren’t inclusive to darker skinned women. 😢 Also the early black models and women have said that makeup in the 80s and 90s wasn’t inclusive to many at all.
How many supermodels can talk about their looks on the runway from 1986 to now?? None, zero, nowt. Naomi is an icon, and we need to appreciate her for all that she has contributed to the fashion industry, especially for the Black models and models of colour that we are seeing now
It is almost mind blowing how beautiful she still is. I could listen to her talk about fashion history for hours you can just tell she sincerely loves it.
She is still a big name in the fashion industry and modeling. I wish we had a documentary about her life because it would be very entertaining, with so many stories!
the fact that she remembers all of this just tells you how detailed she is in her own modeling career and how much control she had. Her memories are amazing
....i actually thought that GIANNI was dead by the time she began her relationship with MANDELA....her story about them and MICHAEL....moved me greatly...i know she created a HUGE fashion show for South Africa that has the image in this video...and all the clothes were by VERSACE....i am so glad that they all had those beautiful relationships with each other....they are all very UNIQUE...on every level...
1:46 I think of when people on Instagram were outraged by the video of Chanel show of Yasmin Le Bon walking the runway with her daughter as a toddler, like, no you don’t get it, these people all used to be friends with each other, including the designers! It’s not like today’s shows.
Its because she is the blueprint for all make-up contour. She is the blueprint for all beauty. She is the european standard of beauty- literally. Everyone who wears make-up or tries to look good is literally incorporating a piece of her into their creation. Its insane when put into perspective.
to all the brits (and people in london) in the audience: an AMAZING exhibit titled "NAOMI: in fashion" is currently running at the V&A museum in london! i believe they are also hosting the nelson mandela dress atm, but pls don't quote me on that
Love this video and Naomi! She seemed proud that Beyoncé asked her to be in the Brown Girl video…they were stunning together. And her close friendship with Mandela was important to her! Lol about her Madonna comment…said so nonchalantly. 👍🏾
I remember back in my high school days, I would save my lunch money to purchase magazines, but only the ones with Naomi, and even though I was told to forget about modeling because I was too short, I still enjoy watching fashion shows to this very day. I feel we are all models with our own uniqueness and fashion sense even if we are not in magazines or on the runways.
I can't describe the emotion it gives me to see Naomi Campbell talking about her career in fashion, how each look she wears becomes a piece of pop culture and the fashion industry. ❤️❤️
Blood diamonds. The diamond industry used to knowingly use mines worked by children under the rule of rebel forces. That's the best way to explain it. I saw the movie Blood Diamond with Leo Dicaprio and was horrified.
I've never really watched model shows nor had interest in models. But being born the same year as Naomi, I know she was one of the greatest models in the 80s and then I watched the Face series, and realised bit by bit that first how impressive she is, then that she's no piece of cake to work with. HOW EVER!! I am sure she is the one who directed this show. It was classy, fun and kept you on your toes. The other model shows comes out as tacky and demeaning to the models. But, FACE where Naomi is tough with the girls but she is fair. It's the kind of tough that they will need when working in the industry. This is why I am watching this video, she got me intrigued. Much respect for this lady. ❤
I never liked her personality.. but after watching This video & seeing how she vividly recalls all those memories and talks about everything in detail is admirable to say the least .. she’s a smart lady for sure.. I kinda like her now lol (not that my opinion matters much 😂)

Lots of people call themselves legends few people actually are. Naomi IS A LEGEND!!!
8 minutes is waaaay to short. We need at least 1 hour of her stories
Naomi is the greatest. She wore a hazmat suit she bought from Amazon and made it look like high fashion. This woman is a legend
