@@xinhai9137 I don't recall if the instructions required soaking them, but at my shop we always soak new synchros and frictions (for auto trans).

Why change synchros?

The synchronizers allow the gears to mesh smoothly, so if you are having grinding or other shifting issues that are not related to the clutch, new synchros can be needed.
