Can we all just take a moment to remember when the biggest threat in homestuck was an imp in the medium? When we all thought it was *just* a webcomic, and we all had our doubts during the first few acts? But look at how far homestuck has come! Homestuck is such an intricate story, and nobody knows what'll happen next. That's what makes it all awesome :D
Holy shit I'm just imagining the LE battle from the meat epilogues and then the end w/ the victory theme is just John fucking floating through space w/ the golden tooth lodged in his chest after watching all of the teen versions of his friends die.

First thing I'd ever recorded, too, and I want to say it was done a few months after Homestuck had started. In my ehad, it fit in as a possible refrain for one of the characters, and the idea always stuck in my head that it could also work as a piece for the very ending for Homestuck, a sort of "all is well" refrain. After two years, I was finally able to make something like what I was thinking and put it in the right context. Like the Homestuck Anthem, I went with using the four kids' instruments: piano, strings, drums/percussion, and bass, and stuck mainly with those. I also got some help by Mr. Lake of Awesome Beats Inc. who was way better at beats than I am, and he made it way better too. Big props to him. With the new universe and many new characters being explored, this piece might not work for "the end of Homestuck" anymore, but if anything, I see it as a sort of moving forward. John's journey on that one day, when he turned 13, matured both him and his friends. Like many others, he took the hero's journey, and grew as a result of it, and so this piece could very well fit him leaving his universe and going on to the next, bringing his experiences and knowledge with him, just as well as it could fit him moving past Sburb to whatever adventures lie ahead."
Sorry that you got disappointed by the Epilogues' non-inclusion of the song. Plus the whole awfulness of the Epilogues in general. EDIT: I have reread the Epilogues, and have came to the conclusion that they are actually...quite good. Please ignore what past me said.

you know i scrolled down to the comments and i saw a couple of people say that this would probably get into one of the final flashes and i was like naaaahhhhh this is kinda boring :/ not as flashy and grand as it should be so i dont think it- and then that bleak, end part started playing. that distorted, once chipper win theme that now sounds lifeless, tired, empty, in the first moments of the aftermath. and that surprise, out of nowhere, finishing touch of mother convinced me... maybe.
Bec Noir and Peregrine Mendicant, both near invincible beings looked worried at the sight of Lord English's universe cracks. Powerful as he is, I dunno how long Doggy Jack would last in a scuffle with the big guy.
I see this as the Rex Duodecim Angelus of the kids, It has tunes reminiscent of the kids (Showtime I have always paired up with John) and 3:40 definitely sounds very Dave, I can't really pick out the other tunes though but I think there is a Jade and Rose in there somewhere.

+Superstar Waluigi Negastrife is not enough epic for Homestuck final fight. Noirscape/The Lordling/Dogfight for Noirs and Caliborn, but for Lord Englishy should be something special.

While by the end the music sounds upbeat and victorious, I am not going to be swayed by that, as so did [S] Jade: Enter, which was right when Bec Noir broke into the troll session and started killing everyone
Bec does not stand a chance not even to wound Lord English. Heck, Bec ended up outright horrified at the extent of the power of the Angel of Double Death, not to say, English might have not even shown his full power, while we do know Jack's.
