We chose to visit Turkey out of the blue, and we still DREAM about it 😍 We ended up in the Sultanahmet area which was so beautiful MashaAllah. we visited the mosque, took the train to other cities. We only spent 5 days there, but we loved it. what a beauty country with a beautiful vibe! I hope we are able to return inshaAllah 🤲🏼 would love to meet up if we do!

Salam sister, your vlog made me so emotional. I am missing Turkey so much specially Istanbul. The UK government put Turkey in the red list for travelling so we still can't travel there. I really can't wait to go back but in the meantime I am glad I can watch your videos on daily life in Istanbul. I am so happy that you are able to go out again and share with us features of your beautiful country.
Here in London, we have the dark colour courgette (zucchini) but I find them bitter. I prefer the smaller one and lighter green which I usually get from my local Turkish shop. Thank you sister.

hello aysenur! great video! our street markets are the same. watching the video, i felt as though it was the street market in my area! lol! the way you are with your mother in law reminds me of my relationship with my mother in law. we always enjoyed each others company. she also taught me a lot and i miss her very much, god bless her soul. can you tell me what the color on the tips of your mother in laws fingernails symbolizes? i remember seeing something similar in a turkish series. does it mean something or is it just something older women like to do?

    • @TFT

Hi! That’s great! I would love to see a market in Greece too to experience the similarities 😊 it is henna she uses. Like the Indians do a lot like a detailed patterns to their hands. A natural green powder, gives color. You can use it to your hairs and body. Usually old people like to do it to their nails. ☺️

@@TFTi visited istanbul in 2009. the similarities are so many that there were moments where i would forget that i was in a foreign country.i told my husband that i could easily live there! inshallah, i will be given the chance to come visit again, and you to visit greece! as for the henna, when i was in my teens i used it on my hair. it made it shiny and gave a bronze highlight. i didnt know it could be used on nails though. very interesting! thanks for taking the time to answer, i appreciate it!
