@@serene_actual from what i can tell, Mobile Infantry ( M.I ) when deployed lose about 12% of all the men they send out to fight, and when he says that its hard to crack he means it in a depressing way that since he just lost a soldier once again he knows people he goes into fights with, not all will make it back out alive ( roughly 12% will die) . dark humor is a hecc of a thing
The switch from live action to CGI really saved the series. It started with roughnecks and continued on with that Japanese movie which was a direct sequel to this one. Meanwhile, the live action movies have more or less been abject failures. Save for the first one. That was alright in my book.

Those grenade explosions at 2:18 look a lot larger than the same grenades used in the desert canyon. Also grenades don't explode like that, even if it's high explosive you don't get a giant fire ball like they show. Oh Hollywood.
Ha caught it. The moment when you see the first guy get out of his chair an jump that took him about 2 seconds to get out of his seat and jump. When he was running for the exit everyone was locked into their seats, but then the moment they zoom out to the first guy jumping then not even a second later everyone jumps out at the same time as if they were all standing ready to jump out. Timing mistake on the animators part, it doesn't look right because there is no way for everyone to be able to get out of their seats and jump out that quickly after the first guy.

The thing about this movie is if u compare it visually to last one (invasion) the quality has definitely improved which is a good sign!

From what the movie was hinting at, Mars is very lax in its standards and regulations.
They got the equipment right, but the soldiers in this movie behave extremly stupid and absolutely not how a trained soldier would act.
The thing is, only Rico is a trained soldier in the trailer, the rest are still trainees / rookies
