A real treat to see/hear Mehta, Barenboim and the NY Phil, with the cherry on top of Barenboim playing Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 3, one of my favorites. The backstage interviews were good, esp. with Mehta.

Strange, usually Barenboim has total control but here he was probably so nervous, first half of 1st movement is quite unstable rhythmically, Mehta looks worried.
