Pronovias dazzled their 1,800 guests once more during the fashion show held in the Oval Hall of the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona, where the Collections 2014 Pronovias, Atelier Pronovias and Elie by Elie Saab were presented. The attendees included well renowned faces from the worlds of film, fashion and the Spanish and international society, the press and international buyers, who enjoyed a unique presentation in terms of the designs, the casting, celebrities and stage design.
The theme of the fashion show was "First Love", with a stage design representing a nursery in which the models were the flowers. The Pronovias 2014 collection has surprised everyone this year with a broad selection of gowns so that every bride can see her own dream come true. The designs range from classic-cut dresses with large skirts to fresh and simple modern dresses.
And from classic princess cuts that are cinched at the waist -most of them with very flattering strapless necklines-, to more sensual cuts, such as mermaid dresses and fresh and sober gowns that are brought in at the hip with asymmetric necklines.
The Atelier Pronovias collection stands out thanks to its rich fabrics, such as precious silks and French lace, without leaving aside the exquisite work with other materials such as rebrodé and chantilly lace, tulle, garza silk and taffeta, creating unique pieces in which the back also takes centre stage, covered by sinuous transparent fabrics, lace or gemstone embroideries.
