Why'd they pick the ugliest 2015 dress they could find
Ya ikr our 2015 gowns are gorgeous
I agree! I watch "Say Yes To the Dress" and have seen MANY dresses that were WAY prettier.
Thank you!!! It's so ugly!
+Lori Dale Thats exactly what I was thinking!
I thought it was the prettiest of them all lol
I was waiting for 2021 and after realized the video was post in 2015😂
Me tooi

Same 🤣👌🏻
Definitely recognise the 80’s wedding dresses my mum and my aunt wore. Such a stark difference between the 80’s and the 90’s.
But I think is more late 90s, the early 90s was similar to big 80s
@@aldairlopez8563 exacto, de 1990 a 1995 se usaron esos vestidos enormes y grandes velos y tocados.
Nothing like my 1980s dress at all!!!
They need to update this. Masks and sweatpants for 2020 weddings
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂 and a 6 ft. Social distancing sticker
Along with hazard suit
Lmao..or just get married in yoga pants
Don’t forget the lace to make it preatty
Me: this is cool

My grandparents got married in the winter of 1961 and my granny had a longsleeved dress with lace in off-white, that she made by herself. My grandparents had like no money, but they loved eachother so much.... Unfortunately, my grandpa died in 1980 because of leukemia, so I never met him, but I'm sure, he would've loved to see me wearing Granny's dress at my own wedding next year, on their 60 year anniversary ❤️
Such an amazing story love ❣️ it.
That is so sweet! 💕💕❤️
my grandma got married in the '50s is very beautiful gown sadly it died in a fire long before I was born just too bad it very poofy style of gowns long sleeves with a v and sheer turtle neck.
That's super sweet💞💞
So, are u married yet?
1955 was honestly the prettiest out of all of them. I'd wear that at my wedding in a heartbeat!
In my opinion 1945 was the prettiest 😊
I think the model really like it too she seemed to have more fun with it 😁
i love 1950s fashion
@@theartempress6100 Me too!
The 50s fashion is always very popular. I think it's because it's so very feminine. I'm not keen on it for myself. I find it a bit kitschy. But I can see the attraction.
My wedding was 3 months ago and 1 was wearing my great grandma wedding dress 1913, will be given to my future daughter ♥️
It's always the 50s that are the best for fashion and the 80s that make you say wtf.
fashion died in the 80s
Gracy Toy Schultz ya. what a shame. I need fries

Flameheart of Thunderclan true that

1915s was definitely unique and pretty but my favourites were 1935s and 1945s
Agreed... those ones were pretty😁
I love the ones from 1955 and 2005 🥰
Ayneeen
1945 seems to be my favorite one.
The 1915 style is wow. From the dress to the bouquet 😍
Wedding in 2020 : Sweatpants, tee and a zoom call.
I saw the 1985 one and immediately gasped because it's so so soooo similar to my mother's wedding dress from the 80s, so I love how accurate it is!!!! I remember her saying that her dress would be mine and I looked at the puffed shoulders and my six year old brain said ummm thanks mum but nooooo
Boggy Bunny the one from 2005 is basically my mums dress too! And she got it around that time.
Most of those eighties dresses can be altered to remove the sleeves, and they are gorgeous.
The 80's one looks just like my mom's dress too. 😂 And my aunt B, my aunt A, my aunt J, and my aunt Be, all their dresses looked like that! Haha!
I love when parent assume that you wanna get married... SINGLE AND PROUD
The dress from 1985 looked soooo much like my moms dress too! I think that’s the year they exactly got married too lmao
1935 is classy
1990 and 2015 are beautiful
+Aakansha Gupta and so is your mother
+EternalSearcher smooth
They really showcase how beautiful each style is, in their own way, even some decades that weren’t necessarily my favorite. It’s impressive.
The 1955 one is incredibly simple and I’m living for it! I want that as my dress!
i thought what she walked in with was the first one xD i was like whatttttttt? ahhaha
+Kiki & Lili that made me laugh out loud
I thought the same thing, too. x'D I was like "I swear, if this is the first one..." I was about ready to laugh. x'D
+Kiki & Lili and that was her best wedding dress!
Same I was like....Da Fuq??? That dress is supposed to be from the 2020's xD jk.
hahaha yes
1935, 1955, 1995 are my favorites. 😍 So simple and yet so elegant.
Same ❤️
Blueberry Cheesecake same girl
What a lovely film .The 30's ,40's and 50's ones where the most stylish .I'd love to have the chance to dress up like that !
The 1925 wedding dress was very similar to my grandmother's dress when she married my grandfather in 1925. Loved the headpiece. Nailed the 80's - right down to the makeup.
1955 was my favorite. I'd definitely wear a dress similar to it!
Ditto. And the year I was born just as it happens.
But Your dad just calls me Katyaaa ya same! it was so pretty!
But Your dad just calls me Katyaaa Yeah
me too but just a bit longer, a tea-dress isn't really formal enough for a wedding dress to me
Me too!! I also loved the 70's :)
2:22 on 1995 definitely my favourite amongst all..
Ya... mine too!!!😍
Same
Yea
💯
Same I loved the flowers 🤍💚💖
I appreciate all the work that goes into 100 years of style/fashion/hair videos. I wish more or any would explain the inspiration of the changes.
Love the 30's 90's and 200. Always great to see any fashion through the ages. Brides always look beautiful.
can we all just agree that the 1980's was the worst era for everything
+Haneen z Too much hairspray and colors
yea
+Haneen z it was pretty bad but i mean the early 2000s was a lawless wasteland
except the music
I call it the "world fashion catastrophe" oh man I can't believe not even the wedding industry was spared from this disaster
THAT ENDING HELL YES
+Angela LI what about the ending?
+Kavita “Potato” Kat LOVE WINS.
She walked off with a chick as the person she was marrying
+Angela LI can they produce babies?
+taciturnr lam excuse me?
The change from the 70's to the 80's is so intense it's giving me whiplash. HOW did that happen.
That 1935, 2005 and 2015 one😭😭😍😍
I'm in love with the 40s dress it's gorgeous
Omg same xx
That is so true i want my wedding dress to look like that
The 40s and 50s dresses were amazing
Agreed
+LylacProductions so true!

ikAEmmA HOW ON EARTH AM I STARTING TO FIND US EVERYWHERE THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND WOW
2005 dress is spot on ! My dress looked just like that when I married my husband Steve back in 2002 . Oh how time flies ! Seems like just yesterday !
I absolutely love the 1985 outfit!!
1965 and 1995 were GORGEOUS !
You're so right.
yess!
1935 too!
YES
true! simple and beautiful.
Call me mental but I'm loving 1935
I think they are all beautiful except if I was going to get married I would wear all black instead of the traditional white gown.
me too!! so beautiful!
+none none The black /dark wedding dress used to be the trend. before the mid-1940s. My grandma got married in 1938 and I saw her black wedding dress.
It's really cute but I don't like what she's wearing under it
me too! it looks so classy i think
I was married in 1987 but wore my mother’s dress. She bought and wore hers in 1960. All silk with real buttons down the entire back and a giant bow at the lower back. Gorgeous. Then my two sisters wore again in 1990 and 1995. So special!
My grandmother's dress from the 50s, my aunt's from the 80s, and my mom's from the 90s are very close to these! Great job!
My fave is one from 1995
me too
Rayan Jamali That off the shoulder dress is so BEAUTIFUL
so simple but elegant
Same
It was so simple and elegant💖💖
I love how she fits in every era. And, well done to those dressing her and doing her hair and makeup
it's because the era is defined by the clothes.
If she was fat, short, and brown, she would have fit too, maybe with a different set of clothes
@@xl000this. It's not like bone structures have changed in the last 100 years. It's just that beauty standards change over time, so certain facial archetypes come to be associated with certain eras. And you'd be surprised how much clothes, hair, and makeup can alter a person's appearance.
I love the 1945 look... So classy 😍😍😍😍
1915 style is so beautiful it feel the intensity of innocence is very much 😍
1935 is my favorite
1975 looks so rustic and warm, I love it
I have to say the 1940s dress is my fav I just love the neckline it’s so graceful 💗
I loved the 1925 wedding dress and head piece as well as 1985 dress. 💜
My favorite is 1975 because it's just really beautiful!
same here i love it!
It looks like a vintage Gunne Sax dress, it's gorgeous
the 1975
1935 was really pretty and the 1985 was super groovy lol
Lizzy Tebbetts ...groovy was the late sixties...
***** hahaha idc lol I suck at history anyways😄😄
***** you DEFINITELY can date a word?
Emma Jones It's like how we don't say "thou", so you can date a word.
She looks fabulous in them all! I loved the 1920s one 😍
I love the ones from 1935 and 1945. The lace, relative simplicity, and headdresses just make them seem so regal.
IKR
My thoughts exactly
Surprised 2015 wasn't a mermaid, or maybe I'm just out of touch after watching too much Say Yes to the Dress
THANK YOU
ikr! xD
same!
I didnt really agree with what they chose for 2015
haha same
With each decade, the dresses got subtler. Loved that 😍
The video was SUPER accurate. The '75 one looked just like mom's dress, the '45 one like my Granny's and the 1915 one like my Great Granny's. I'm not married yet but the 2015 one was my favorite. We really are a product of our environment!
Aww the ending was so cute! I love the 2015 dress!
Rjdhfhe
FashionByAlly omg hi fashon by ally
1975 gave me Beetle Juice vides 😂

meredyth with a y
Yess
True
Very simple and elegant
But why did I immediately start searching for 1945 wedding dresses? I’m not even getting married and I want one
Wedding dresses or what you wear for your wedding can be anything. My mom had a very small wedding and wore a peach coloured skirt and dress shirt/jacket.
1955😍
Ikr 😍😍
+Dimitra P
It was fabulous ~
i want thay wedding dress!!
😍😍💗
so pretty
God the 80s were so freaky for every type of fashion, I think it's the hair spray and bright eye makeup
please the 80s were my favorite I wasn't born in them but hey they're my favorite
funny cause my parents got married in 1980 and my mom doesn't look like that AT ALL on her wedding photos 😂
+Lisa Wojtowicz yeah!
I agree
Dude yes. That 80s dress is everything.
I love the energy of the model :D and the ending was so sweet
The beauty of a wedding dress is eternal ✨
I really liked the 1945 style

The Jumping Gymnast looks like the bride already be a mom before wedding

Little princes from 70"!!! wow! Lovlely!!! And crazy 80' full of kitsch at ease and joy
They used a pretty ugly one for 2015, i think there was much more to choose from than just that one.
for reals!. I was like ugh... I was expecting a mermaid for sure, but nope
this was uploaded last year
I actually really liked it :') mostly bc i Would wear it
I WAS THINKING THAT TOO
+TheTrashDiaries ME TOO
When I was little I had fallen in love with this super pretty and old wedding dress in a thrift store, my parents had decided to get it for my birthday. I recently found out that the dress was from 1900-1910(Can't quite remember) and it had been passed down for a long time until the guy who donated it got it from his late mother and had decided to donate it because he and his husband didn't want kids but he didn't want to throw it away so he donated it in hopes that it could make someone else happy and maybe make it through a few more generations.
Yeah no shit 2 dudes can't have kids🤢🤮
All the styles were beautiful.....but I loved that 1955 dress❤
She looks stunning in all of them!
You all bashing on everything on the 80's.. shame on you, they were happy.. haha :)
My fav would be the 1925 dress, elegant and enchanting
+Hajer A. 80's are probably why we call brides "beautiful meringues" in my country!
+Hajer A. 1925 dress was ugly. Looks like the bottom half is stained by cigarette smoke lol
+Hajer A. I agree with you, The 1925 dress is so unique. The 80s dress is ok, but the make up...ugh.
+Hajer A. Yes!! Agree. Love 2005's too but 1925 was my favorite.
1935 was so pretty! Very flapper-esque.
I'm love with 1955 dress
Ali E same 😍

40's, 50's and 00's were the best in my opinion. That last one....woof.
The 1935 and the 2015 ones were so beautiful 😍
Haililibunnie totally agree! They were my 2 favorites too.
1935 was to die for! That's what I wanna look like when I get married
+Shane Elizabeth 1935 is my favorite too. :)
Shane Elizabeth ikr, it's beautiful!!
I'm in love with that 50's dress!
I want the 1950's one!! it's so pretty and i love the pattern
pretty sure I have seen a photo of my mom in the exact 1985 wedding dress when she first got married in 1989

Same!!

Mmm was she not married in US, seems like fashion/music trends from US got to other countries a bit later back then
+aznkarebear Yeah, New Zealand. Some towns here are still stuck in the '70s haha
the 80's was a truly heinous time for fashion
Hahahahahha!!! Very true, I'm glad it toned down a lot after that
+Hayley Anne 80's was truly heinous for everything, it was a confused period in history where people didn't know what they were supposed to be doing, thankfully they started coming round in the mid 90's, 2030 is my prediction for the next human progression stall, Google cars will be driving us around, and we will only converse electronically, human interaction will be gone, outdoor activities will be non-existent, our whole lives will be online,......Wait a minute.
+Hayley Anne Haha! Agreed! :)
+Hayley Anne But it was also great for a fact that people really had complete liberty to experiment with fashion on a day to day level. But personally, 90'ies had the best style to me.
*****
lol, Agreed, I was just being silly : P
The ending was a beautiful surprise that made me want to cry. Thank you
*The 1995 one was elegant.*
*I would love to wear this kind of dresses!*
1955 dresses where so elegant and sweet a like
didn't like the majority of them, but if that's the style for 2015, it's a blessing that I'm still single...haha
2005 and 2015 my faaaavvvvss 💗💗💗💗 super lovely
I appreciate the patience of the model 👍🤗👏👏👏
The 80's fashion makes me think like: wtf was we thinking back then😞😔😥
My '80s one was sleek and NOTHING like this video's portrayal. They really screwed that up and over-generalized at least a few of the eras.
Marty Cee They only do one dress; they have to generalize. I had a wedding Barbie doll from the era wearing a dress nearly identical to that '80s one! lol
Can't wait until we get to see 100 years for grooms costumes and see gay marriage at the end.
+Duke no just... no
+AllstateIts Inyourhands It showed gay marriage in this video, so...?
+Duke I can't wait either. Don't mind the trolls.
I'd rather not
Duke.......your my best friend
I love the 1925 head piece. The older styles were nicer than the more recent years. LOVED the 1945 look. 😊
70's is my fave!❤

I've never seen that
Amanda Castellano It's actually pretty common. I've worked at a Bridal store.I Would have gone with a mermaid style dress though.
Amanda Castellano if u open any bridal magazine most styles look so close to that 😪
JJ Cira
Meagan Carr yea I thought they should have gone with a mermaid style it seems to be very popular.
Amanda Castellano it reminded me of the dress Brittany from glee got married in o:
Authentic 1930's wedding dresses are apsolutely stunning
Ooo!! The 1945 looks GOOD!!
I looved the 50s dress

+Alexandra Koo I always like the outfits from the 50's
My grandmother, and her fiancé, are getting married in February. So excited. :))

@@mugiwara9978 ??
The 70s and 80s ones, love!!
The 80's always have such an iconic look. You can always tell what decade it is!
What a nice way of saying it. Iconic. I was married in 81, before everything went hideous. But a friend was married later in the decade.
She hates her gown to this day. Those styles looked horrible on 99.9 percent of the population. Iconic. Love it.
@@dawnelder9046 I’m wearing an 80’a dress for my wedding. Some of us like the style 🤷♀️
Except her hair wasn't big enough. 😂😂
The 50's and the 70's were the best imo.
And the 60s
